Boo! I was all ready to go to Sephora this morning. I even found someone to cover my shift at work so I could go in the morning and not have to try to go after work which would mean dealing with dinner time for my two kiddos and then trying to go there with them in tow since DH works late tonight. Then we got an April snow storm! I was going to go anyway, I figured once I got out on the main roads they would be plowed and it would be no problem. Yeah, not so much. I got about two miles from home and then went back because it was so slippery. A few free samples isn't worth getting in an accident, but I'm still kind of bummed. The snow is slowing down now and it's starting to melt, so maybe I'll go this afternoon.

Hi there!  Been lurking for a long time, but just had to make an account to post what was in the tote bag.  Such a disappointment!  There are six little foil packets (smashbox bb cream, ole henriksen moisturizer, nude perfect cleansing oil, algenist pore correction concentrate, bb thickening shampoo and conditioner), and a little vial of d&g light blue perfume.  There's also a card with four shades of make up for ever profinish foundation.  The bag was so empty that I actually asked to make sure there were samples in there.  Maybe other stores will have something better?

got my tote and samples - you're not missing out on too much.  the tote is actually pretty nice (way better than those cheap plasticky ones from last time.. this one is still plasticky but nicer).  samples are definitely one use type thing, like the typical 3 free samples you get with online orders. and two of them are skin tone-specific

I went to a Sephora at JCP, so I don't know if the freestanding stores get different samples. The tote bag is very nice too! I can take it shopping with me in place of plastic bags.

I started with alot of stuff & then realized I really didn't need that much or that I already had similar products in my collection.

I'm glad I stayed home for this sale. I only needed to buy a primer this month and I already bought it when VIBs were getting a free Origins eye cream with purchase. I'm going to try to hold out until August for my next purchase!

I got my tote! I was doing an even exhange and I picked up the tarte crease less concealer kit. I think they took 15% off of my exhange... So I got an (exchanged) flawless face kit and the tarte kit for $18! And, I asked for a Fresh Sugar Birthdah Duo - and she gave it to me!

That sucks! A friend of mine lives up there and they still have snow on the ground.

My Sephora gave a sample of Gucci Premiere perfume instead of the D&G, but otherwise, same as reported.  The Sephora at JCP samples actually look better to me. 

The bag is pretty nice -- it's like a slightly heavier weight reusable grocery store bag, so I'm sure I'll use it.  Got an Anastasia mini-brow kit -- cute little tweezers & a small brow gel that will be good for traveling -- and a "travel size" Dr. Jart Black BB cream.  I've been wanting to try that and haven't seen a sample, so figured I'd spring for it.  I also got the Naked Flushed palette.  I was hesitating, but a saleslady sampled some for me and I really liked it!

All this for $18.43!* Samples: smash box mascara, MUFE mascara, sephora primer, dolce & gabbana blue (gross), and phytojoba shampoo. Plus, The tarte kit Laura Mercier kit (even exchange *ok. So I did pay full price for this at some point.) And the fresh duo - which she may or may not have given to me for 100 points. She said she wasn't sure if it would take points off or not. Lets hope not!

Just finished my full morning of shopping. I was at my Sephora as the doors opened, same samples as amidea. Somehow the bag looks cheaper than it feels (if that makes any sense). I bought a Sephora by OPI polish in Who's Spinning Tonight and the Buxom Amplified Smoky Eye. I was originally going to get the Kat Von D Starry Eyes Autograph Set, but apparently the website lied (it said it was in stock at this location, employees said it had been gone since Xmas). Wish there had been some special sale items, but I guess I'll satisfy myself with the rest of the stuff I bought today

Another question: Anyone tried Nails Inc nail polishes? The spring collection set colors are pretty, but it has bad reviews at the Sephora site.. I appreciate any feedback! Thanks!

yea, you got some nice sized samples!  where is the sephora you went to?  i wish mine had had samples that size (and i went to times sq, which i would expect to have good ones!)

Same here, except I got the Gucci premiere perfume sample instead of the D&G sample. Also, I was able to pick up the VIB origins plantscription eye cream (in addition to the 15% discount)! FYI - The Sephora at Columbus Circle in NYC still has more VIB origins eye cream in stock.
