It was a Lipstick pencil thing, I didn't get it so I'm not sure of the shade.  Its a red though.

I totally suck for not getting the shade, my boyfriend was waiting in the car so I was in a rush AND the person checking me out didn't seem to know what they were doing.  I did pick up the Sephora Favorites Star Performers set that was marked down from $55 to $29.  Pretty good deal.

I love the pencils but I'll be bummed if it's the same red (pomegranate) that was in the big lip set. I don't need a second one with all the reds I already have.

i did try that! the prob is the spring is out of the sprayer. i dont know how even to remove the sprayer from the bottle :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
I'm guessing you would have to wedge a knife or something similar between the bottom of the silver sprayer and the bottle and pry it off that way. I would wait until you have an empty bottle to decant it into before trying it though since you likely won't be able to reattach the cap. I would also recommend using a blunt knife when trying it because I'm a clumsy person and I always try to be extra careful (but end up injuring myself anyways).

ladies help please!! i purchased Paradise by Nest from sephora not too long ago. i dropped the bottle the other night and now it does not spray. the bottle is almost full!!! sephora CS is sending a replacement but in the meantime i hate to let an entire bottle of perfume go to waste. how can i get the perfume out without making a giant mess? I'm sure i can find a pretty crystal decanter somewhere like tj maxx. any help would be appreciated.

sidenote: if you have not tried benefits Puff off i did the day after christmas!! holy moly!! no other product has EVER made the giant bags under my eyes disappear. THIS DID!! if you have not tried it, run to your nearest Sephora and ask them to try it !! you will love it!
Ok this may sound a little morbid or creepy or whatnot, but you can remove the fragrance very easily using a syringe. I had the same dilemma a few months ago and found this solution. It is amazing! I was able to salvage EVERY drop!! Here's a youtube tutorial:

The hardest part is finding an insulin syringe. I luckily was able to get a few from a friend with diabetes (along with some sideways looks until I explained what I was doing). I know you can buy them at pharmacies around me without a prescription but I don't think I could ever walk into a pharmacy and buy needles. If you venture to try this, I hope it works for you!

Depending on the size of the plastic tube in the perfume, you might be able to get away with using one of those things you use to inject marinades into turkeys/other meats.

The NARS bday set looks amazing! Unfortunately, my birthday is in November!!!!

BTW, I went to a Sephora in Portland last night (for tax-free shopping) and picked up an awesome Buxom mascara 100 pt perk.

My family loves me for who I am (which is a frothing-at-the-mouth crazy-eyed makeup fiend) so they got me a Sephora gift certificate. Half of it is now gone, as of five minutes ago ... and my cart is already full again. Somebody, make me wait, I shouldn't spend it all now!

Does anyone else own the OCC lip pencils set? I'm very excited to try these, especially Pool Boy and Black Dahlia. They're both so dramatic.

Here's a question for the Sephora community: I want to send something to Hawaii, so ground shipping is really, really not an option. The post office tells me I can't ship liquids, especially flammable ones like perfume and nail polish. What about sample packs? I used the Ole Henriksen 7 Wonders code, and I want to pop it in a box with other things and send it to my mum, who lives in paradise.

Ulta once sent me sample packs in a regular envelope, with regular stamp (because they forgot to include it in my order). That seems to have worked out fine.

To summarize: USPS, whhhaaaaat?

In my experience they usually only ask you if you're sending any nail polish/perfume or other flammables. I usually just smile and say no even if I am sending a nail polish or 2 in a big package of other things. Sometimes I even honestly forget that I have packed some nail polish in because I build packages for friends overseas over the course of a month or two and I buy things in phases. I've never had any issues with them busting me for it. I would say that you should be fine sending it to your mom :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

@@turtleflooball - i bought the OCC pencil set plus lydia and clear off their own website. they're really nicely pigmented and stain very nicely. i'm having a hard time doing an ombre lip or any of the cool things from the lip of the day features on their instagram but thats ok since i probably won't do that outside of my mirror anyway lol

Heh, I personally feel no qualms about sending it. My mum is a stickler for rules, though, and what I am trying to avoid is her saying, "YOU SENT A LIQUID!!!!" Maybe I'll call the post office and ask, so if she does freak out, I can have a clear authority to fall back on.

I was hoping they'd be as smooth and colorful as the reviews said! Yay! I'm glad I went for it.

Definitely taking back that Bite set- the lip mask IS TINY! Super tiny! It might be different if the included lippie was a color I'd wear, but as it is, this is a waste of money for me. Also, my order with the Bite 3-lipstick set was ALSO canceled, which is upsetting because I had two other items that are now also OOS :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Does anyone have any idea when they might post some of the 5,000 point rewards again?

I feel like they always go up in the middle of the night without warning so I have never been able to get a chance to click on one. (Not that I'm hoarding points for years here, or anything...)

So until when do we need to wait now for the next deal? March, right? Ugh, so many things sitting in my cart right now.

Is it bad that I was kind of surprised to find out a few months ago that PTR was a higher end brand? The first time I ever encountered their products was with hotel toiletries lmao so I assumed that's all they did, oops.
