Yeah I was staying at the Hilton on my uni's campus for an engineering conference lol.

when i was in HS and basically ONLY did TJ Maxx shopping I assumed all the beauty stuff there was lower end. I definitely learned that wasn't true when I started getting more into make up!

I was surprised by prices when I started paying attention to makeup. I've watched QVC and HSN most of my life amd they always have sets of things, imagine my surprise when that laura geller compact that came with 7 other things on QVC for $50 was $30 on it's own lol

I feel like they always go up in the middle of the night without warning so I have never been able to get a chance to click on one. (Not that I'm hoarding points for years here, or anything...)

The last few years, they had the big point rewards in August (when they offer 2x, 3x, and 4x points for purchases).

I had seen some Youtube reviews on it so I knew they were small, but yeah I was still surprised by how tiny the eyeliner and lip tar were. I would not have been happy if I paid full price for the set; glad I waited.

So much perfume in the sample section. I hope it isn't a precursor to Valentine's day, I want it to go away soon. I have a lot of those fragrance samples already, and only like a couple of them, so I don't even want them as backups!

mid-April: 15% off for Chic Week

early May: 3x points on perfume

late August: 2x, 3x, 4x points on all purchases for BI, VIB, and Rouge, respectively

mid-late November: 20% for VIB and Rouge

mid-December: $15, $20, $25 off for BI, VIB, and Rouge, respectively

I just noticed Sephora limited the number of Urban Decay items you can purchase to 3, very innnnneresting.  They should really make this the norm for all items.

Considering the whole "UD canceled my order because I made multiple orders this month" back during Black Friday and the (re-)release of the Vice LTD it was probably a request on UD's end.

Btw - any experts on Dior foundation out there? I had my makeup done at a Dior counter earlier this week and I'm not sure which one she used (other than the color number - which are the same across all of their foundations) - but I LOVED it. It wasn't cakes or heavy and it looked super natural yet flawless.
