I got my card last night. The fine print on the paper says "Must qualify as VIB Rouge by October 1, 2014." So that must be the cut off date.

That said, it won't hurt to contact them and ask if you could get the $5 difference. ($5 more to spend! /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I'm not sure you are going to have to place your order over the phone in that case.

Does anyone know if they let you use a promo code when you order over the phone? I've heard both yes and no so I was just wondering.

I've placed orders over the phone twice, and they asked me what promo I wanted both times.

I have an online return to make, but have a new card number. One CS rep told me that I would get an online credit, but another told me it should be the same routing info and would be returned to my card (same account, different number). Anyone know for sure? I'd like my money back, but if I'm going to get a credit anyway, I'd rather just take it back to a store (since they said it could take four weeks to process!).

I can confirm it really does take about a month if you mail in your return.

It's pretty standard. It takes about 3.5 weeks for me, but so does Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks, and the like. You have to understand, you have to give them at least 1- 1.5 weeks for shipping alone, and then they have a much larger (national) queue of returns vs going to a store with a line of 3 people.

OT but neiman marcus has a new return policy, you get the return credit as soon as return box is scanned by your delivery person! it was incredible, they sent me double orders and double charged, same day I rec'd it, I put label on, dropped off and poof credit appeared! amazing! the only thing I don't like is that had I packed it in one box I would not have rec'd each return asap - such a waste of boxes, trees, money + such.....

So any word on whether Sephora is going to do an advent calendar for point perks like they did last year? That was so awesome! Though, I wish they would mix it up a little bit... it sort of bothers me that promos that you can get with a $25 order (like the Dior promos, that great Flowerbomb promo, the Bareminerals promo, plus all the bags we get with deluxe samples) are better than what you get for turning in 100 points, or $100 dollars.

I just checked their site and it looks like this year it is the 26 days of Delights from A to Z.  Code is DELIGHT and today is a Becca Bronzing Skin Perfector.

Just wanted to let you ladies know that I was reading Beauty Talk on Sephora's website and a Sephora Rep told people this:

Yes! There is a cutoff date for qualification of each tier which begins early (because it IS the Holiday card for all tiers)- not to worry we can always adjust and accomodate as needed if the wrong card has been sent.

So I take that to mean don't feel too bad calling to get the adjustment. I know I will, even though they might not do it, I guess. But I hope they do! I hit Rouge during the VIB sale, so a month after the cut-off, but maybe they'll help me.

I found it on beauty talk! Someone pointed out if you took the URL of the first image and changed the number: http://www.sephora.com/contentimages/categories/advent_caldendar_2014/images/revealed/#.jpg

(replace # with the day, e.g. 1, 2, 3...) you would get it...
