I had posted a few pages back that I am VIB but, got the $15.00 value. I sent an email to Sephora. They told me to call when I am ready to place my order and they will take care of it. Kinda of a pain in the neck but, I have nothing in mind just yet. So, who knows if I will use it. Who am I kidding, I will use it.

I haven't gotten my card yet. I'm starting to worry it got sent to my old address. What should I do if I don't get one in the mail or via email?

Happened to me 2 years ago and when I emailed them they were basically just like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ oop and didn't do anything about it. I'm not even sure the rep who replied even knew what I was talking about... I would call or facebook them instead.

You should get it via email, though remember that Sephora's email system is crazy and some people get theirs rather later than others. I seem to usually be near the end of the email pack. If you start to get worried, I think you can contact CS or try them via FB.

ETA: Yea, by contact CS I meant call.

Is there a minimum purchase to use the gift code?

I don't remember from last year or the year before...

Thanks in advance!
It's always been a $50 minimum, but since it's in the form of a gift card they technically can't control it. The fine print said that they'll void the transaction if they catch you, but I feel like that's an empty threat.

I haven't received my card yet, but they usually send out emails with the code so I'm not worried.

They can look up your card number and give you the code over the phone as well. (Contacting via facebook or beautytalk would work too!)

Lol I've pushed my luck multiple times over the last two years and haven't lost yet!

I wouldn't worry about not receiving cards yet... If they're not active until the 3rd, I'd guess more will go out Monday & Tuesday and the e-mail will probably go out on Tuesday too. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

@@MyMonthlyObsessions Could you link this palette? I can't seem to find it...
Shoot it says the page doesn't exist anymore!! It's the star studded eyeshadow book. If you search on sephora "kat von d" you will see it. But when you click it, it says it doesn't exist!!

I'm guessing it is sold out. Not sure of they will bring it back at regular price or not.

I did hear people found them in store!! Maybe screen shot it on the search page and see if they will value that.

Here's part of the fine print on the mailer: "This is a one-time-use-only reward card valid for one shopping transaction at any Sephora US or Canada store, on Sephora.com, or at Sephora inside JCPenney. Offer is not available with online orders shipping outside the US."

So from what I understand, you should be getting a card but you'll only be able to redeem it in-store, not online.
I guess you didn't read what you wrote lol it says right there to be used in store, at sephora.com or jcp sephoras. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Were there any deluxe sample sized items or only foils?
There was one deluxe sample (I think it was a Stila BB cream?), and the rest were foils. I remember being really disappointed, because the first code I ever used was for a Clinique cleanser that lasted me six months. I think there were different bags, though, so I guess I got a bum one?

But Canadians would need to use it at a physical store, as their online shop is Sephora.ca. Which is so unfair to them.
Are you sure? I'm not from Canada, but you can switch between US and Canada on the sephora.com site just by clicking the flag at the bottom, and it still says sephora.com.

Last year, for the first time, Canadians could use the $15/$20 gift online, but as a promo code, not a gift card.  I know it worked because I did that myself.  I don't see why they would revert to not allowing it again this year.

It doesn't work as a gift card because the Canadian checkout process isn't set up for gift cards to be used as a payment option, so there's nowhere to enter it in the payment process.

ETA: Sephora.ca = Sephora.com.  If you go to the .ca site, it'll redirect to www.sephora.com/?country_switch=ca, so the terms shouldn't technically be an issue ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Do you know if they send the cards to Canadians, too?
Fellow Canadian here. They never seem to send me any physical mail but I definitely got the email last year & ended up using it instore. I remembered that I wrote a rant about why I didn't use it online that may be helpful if they run it the same way this year.

"So I got my VIB $20 "gift card" email today and was playing card Tetris in anticipation of Naked3 & discovered some fun facts. 1.If you are Canadian, you can only apply it as a promo code, not as a g/c so you can't get any promos if you use it 2. The minimum IS being enforced for this side of the border, ie it won't apply it unless you have more than $50 u.s in your cart 3.The amount you need for free shipping to Canada is not $75, it must be 96 or higher before discount. Putting $75 in your cart makes the $20 g/c magically turn into a $20.01 g/c and you get charged shipping. Yeah. Nice."

It was that last point that really chapped my...lips. Like, really Sephora? I gotta spend basically $100 online or $50 instore? That's a little extreme , don't you think? That .01 shenanigans really burned me too.
