I looked at it in store yesterday and I'm pretty sure it's the same as the Sephora set except that it includes the lip tar instead of the hourglass lip gloss. Not sure which color the lip tar is though, but all the other colors and products seemed to be the same. Maybe @@v0ltagekid knows the lip tar color.

I'm new to the entire fragrance world. I used to think all scents were headache inducing but had a few really positive experience lately (samples of Tocca's Margaux and Tom Ford's Jasmin Rouge) so I want to explore. 

I was contemplating buying one of the Sephora Fragrance Samplers. I realize that in theory I could go to Sephora and get free samples of scents but TBH I always get headaches when exposed to so many scents and even at home I can't handle testing (i.e., smelling not even getting to the point of applying) more than two or three before I hit one that's awful and I'm done for the day. I'm pretty sensitive. 

My question is - what do you ladies think of these samplers? Out of all of the current sets which would you recommend most for good florals? (I have discovered I'm not into citrus at all and I gravitate towards florals.)

I haven't personally used the sets, but at Christmas I gave out 3 of the $50 sets and 8 of the $65 sets. The $65 dollar sets had rave reviews for the girls at my work and the $50 sets didn't get any feed back. Now that could just be the people I gave them to...My husband and dad loved the mens sets. I plan on purchasing one for myself, just waiting for a good promo! Goodluck...

Does anyone know if there's any way to see your points history other than trying to tally up orders and points spent?

And do the triple points on fragrance, for example, not count toward VIB or Rouge status? Am I being too impatient because the 3x points email says within 5 days and I ordered last Thursday?

The bonus points don't count towards reward status.  Only the amount of points the product cost. 

As far as I know, there isn't another way to see your point history other than how you are already saying, adding everything up in your history.  I wish there were a running tally feature on the account page!

Me too! Because they often get it wrong...watch how much you spent the amount applied to bi accounts to reach vib or rouge are sometimes off as well.

1- how do I use the gelee? Is there a brush I can use? I realize I could use my finger but it just seems awkward with my nails.

2 - for those of you that bought this set, was there a white film on everything inside your's too?

I haven't used the gelee, but I have a similar Tarte product that I use this Elf small duel fiber brush with:

It's very similar to a Mac 130 but just costs $3 at Target! (I own 4 of them)

I'm sure you will love it! I love the Elizabeth & James Nirvana White. A lot of people love the black though so u get both plus a bunch of others. The bottles are so cute too!!

Today, I locked myself out of my house. After bawling my eyes out at the prospect of being locked out for three hours in the rain until the BF got home, I realized I may have an alternative. I had my purse with me, which meant I had credit cards. I also had my phone (everything but the keys, naturally) so I did a quick search for how to unlock a door with a credit card. It was recommended not to use a stiff bank card, and to use a softer "rewards" style card. 

Turns out, friends, that the Sephora VIB card was a PERFECT pliability to get me back inside my house. Crisis averted. Thanks for always having my back, Sephora.

Oh man, sephora is kind of a snooze for me this year. I only have 4 months and change of flash left, and I've basically not used it at all since december. I'd feel like i was wasting money but I feel like I got my $10 worth out of it with the $1 orders. I'm hoping BDAYLOVE comes back so I can grab a couple of those, but IDK, I'm just not feeling it. Sephora is so expensive and I just feel like I have too much stuff these days... :/ I'll probably feel differently by the time black friday rolls around, but I'm genuinely not loving the gwp or any of the VIB benefits. snoozzzz
