This is something I would need to do.  Of course, I was just talking about how I had my CC ALMOST memorized- my cabbie stole my number and started charging random things on it.  SOOOO- the bank alerted me and I cancelled it and no more credit card number for me!  At least the one I know!  And no credit card for a week :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />  I guess I'm on a real life no buy now!
I had the memorization problem too. I thought I had it fixed when the bank sent me a new card last week from the Target crap (they decided to just issue new cards to everyone who had used them there) but now while I don't have my new card memorized I do have Hubby's memorized so I unfortunately can still purchase without finding my card since they go to the same account.

I had to get a new card a few weeks ago because of fraud, I already have the new one about 3/4 memorized.  I've got the exp date down, I just need to get the last 4 digits of the card and the 3-digit code on the back and I'll be back in business! Haha my hubby doesn't notice if I'm just randomly typing (shopping!) on my computer but he definitely knows when I run for my wallet... lol memorization is both a necessity and a priority

I can't imagine how the site could get that many brands and that many products from that many brands under the table, but I guess anything is possible.  All that I can tell you is that the shampoo, conditioner, 48 hour volume spray, etc, that I have purchased several times from PB are packaged the same and perform like the Alterna products that I was buying from Ulta and Sephora for a lot more money.  I recently bought the Alterna Caviar Clinical Weekly Intensive Boosting Treatment Vials, which is a brand new product from their line.  They have a rewards program, and they let you return anything that is unopened.  Jacqueline Stallone is on the front page talking about how she only buys from them and how their products are 100% authentic.  Lmao.  I doubt that most of the young ladies on MUT have any clue who Jacqueline Stallone is.  I do, and that's not a selling point for me.  :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />.  Anyway, check it out sometime and see what you think.

On another note, for MUT members who are trying to grow out their hair, the Alterna treatment vials are awesome.  They leave no sticky residue on my scalp, and in the past 4 weeks, my hair has grown almost a full inch.  Sucks to have gray hair, but it sure comes in handy when you want to see exactly how much your hair has grown.

I bought the Meet Your Match set today. I needed something to go with my Radiant Orchid Blush right?!

I was actually going to pick up an Hourglass Foundation but then I decided to try a different version and just brought samples home of both.

I have just switched to the Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Shampoo and Conditioner.  I am loving them so far.  I also bought the Overnight Shine Rescue and the 3 Minut Shine Boost.  And I have a freebie CC cream.  Anything else in this line you would recommend?  And fyi...Hautelook has Alterna on Monday.  No idea if they will have Caviar products, but I certainly plan on checking!

Deva Curl is sold on pandorabeauty.com.  This is hands down the best and cheapest site to get any type of hair product under the sun.  Just as an example, my Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Shampoo normally sells for $32.  On PB, it is $20.99.
I placed an order.  Thank you for posting this!  This has been one of the only places I've seen that still carries the Alterna Hemp Thickening Compound.  It's been discontinued so it's sold out everywhere.  I'm currently using the Stand Expand, but it doesn't work quite as well.

What are the anti-aging benefits of this stuff?

Seriously debating on the summerstash. The big turn off for me is the Marc Jacobs mascara - I tried the sample of that stuff that came with the coupon code earlier this year (that included the Givenchy lipstick and the Hourglass primer) and I HATED it. It completely weighed down and clumped my lashes. Does anyone like that stuff? I see the sephora.com reviews aren't so hot for it either, so it's kind of annoying that sephora would but it in the set over a more loved mascara, but I am guessing they want more people to give it a shot. I also already have Laguna but I could at least give that sample to a friend. Could buy the SIJCP version but it lacks the gelee, right?

I can't speak to pandorabeauty.com but I do use sleekhair.com a lot and their prices are also significantly less than retail (and they often have coupon codes). Everything I have bought from them has been authentic.

I don't know what anti-aging means in terms of hair.  But I am in my late 40s and the last few years my hair has been thinning, lacking shine and bounce and just doesn't seem as healthy as it use to be.  When I would style and take pictures of myself, My hairstyle would be "see-through" in places if that makes sense.  I do feel like my hair has looked fuller when styled since I have made the switch.  I do color my hair, and the products are suppose to be color safe.  But it does feel like my red is fading a bit faster.  But I switched stylists about a year and a half ago, and I have never been as happy with the durability of the red that she uses.  So some of the fading may be due to whatever brand of hair coloring she puts in my hair.

Those are the signs of aging hair. My hair was fine to begin with, so now if any hair product claims to be good for "aging" my response is "here is all my money. Make my hair young again!" I like the Pureology Nanoworks and Aloxxi lines. The Alterna seemed too heavy for me.

I wish there was something to prevent grays from coming in!

I also hated the Marc Jacobs mascara sample. I don't enjoy gel mascara formulas that I have to almost peel off of my lashes in little balls.

Back to Summerstash for a minute!  So the stila doesn't come with the serum, and since they want me to send this entire set back, and since I wanted it to be clear that I've used some of these products already (first thing I did when I got this:  Tested out the gelee and the lip tar), I went ahead and dug into the stila to try it with GDE Foil Me.  Verdict:  It works good enough for me to go ahead and keep the stila!  When I tried this stuff before, it itched like crazy, and I had a feeling it was probably the serum, but I didn't know what else to try it with since I didn't have Foil Me at the time, so I returned it.  Now I have Foil Me and use it pretty much every day with no problems whatsoever, so I decided to give it a shot.  I would actually consider buying more of these shadows and rehoming the serum that comes with it if these things weren't something like $32 full-sized.

And in related news, Sephora now has the serum as a standalone product for $20 for 0.23 fl oz., which I think is about 7ml.  I'll stick with my Foil Me:  $4.50 for about 5ml, and it doesn't itch.  And it's in a plastic bottle, so La Suprema Klutzarina over here doesn't have to worry about dropping it in the sink and shattering it.  And it's back in stock, so I'll have to pick another one up since I'm about halfway done with my current bottle, and I'm afraid I'll run out while it's between restocks.

Glad I wasn't the only one. I was running errands when I tried the sample and actually had to go to a sephora to use some eye makeup remover and get it off me because it was bothering me so much.

bahahaha I am totally steeling that phrase.. I too am a big ol' klutz

[@]meaganola[/@] I'm pretty jazzed to hear Foil Me works. Do they happen to have any shadows that give a dupe look for the Stila Magnifacent metals?

While we're talking about the Stila Magnificent Metals- I pulled my primers out and tried the magnificent metals with different primers.  The way I did this was just put a dot of the primer on my arm and then mixed in some magnificent metal with my finger.  Different strokes for different folks, I like doing it this way more than trying to mix it in the little pan they give you and then put it on your eyeball.  That's complicated for me- I like to be able to move it and mix it on my eye.  THAT BEING SAID- whatever your preferred method of putting this junk on your body, your milage may vary.

ONTO THE SWATCHES! (color is Vintage Black Gold- my Summer Stash Kitten hasn't showed up yet.)

Top to bottom both pics (natural light on both) is:
- Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Serum Primer

- Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

- the Balm Put A Lid On It Primer

- Benefit Stay Don't Stray in Light/Medium

- Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer

- Stila Magnificent Metals Primer

The verdict: the ones I thought were gonna be awesome were terrible, and the ones I thought were gonna be terrible were awesome.  I think my Smashbox Photo Finish Primer has found a new job (or just a job to begin with), once the Stila Primer runs out.  Also, in a pinch, I guess Benefit's Stay Don't Stray would work too.  The rest of them really take out that metallic-y look that is the point of this eyeshadow. I rarely wear this though (we'll see if kitten gets any use) so, I dunno when my Stila Primer will run out- a little goes a very long way with this junk.

Sorry for my tattoo in the way-ed-ness, I'm certainly a lefty and the tattoo's on the right, and I don't trust my right hand to put eyeshadow anywhere.

The texture of stila metals is pretty unique - it is almost like a pudding - mousse, so I cannot think of anything that comes close to it -  I own the violet and now the kitten.  There are shimmer shades that could probably come close, but the actual glitter impact with the color - the only thing I can think of is to layer an actual glitter pigment over a shimmer shade...

btw - the mufe eyeliner pencil that came in the summerstash - just beautiful!!  Lovely teal color and it goes on so smooth.

that is good to hear about the smashbox primer - I never use the stuff and I have a deluxe tube coming my way from an order I made with smashbox.    I wonder if it will work with regular glitter pigments - I bought elf's glitter primer but I am not that impressed by it.
