SEPHORA QUESTION!!

An item I want is no longer available online or in a sephora near me, but I have located it at a store about 60 miles from me. Does anyone know if sephora would either a) ship this to my local store or B) ship it to me directly?

I don't think they do that. I've asked before and they've said no but you can always try!

Of course Hourglass Blush in Dim Infusion is OOS online. 

  My cart is a wreck.  I have 3 different setting powders in it (Laura Mercier loose powder, Hourglass in Diffused Light and UD Naked Skin) and I love them all for different reasons, but I really need to just pick one and stick with it.

On another note, if this is my biggest struggle of the day then I'm doing pretty well. lol

Am happy for the folks that had a good experience, raising tiny fists w/folks that didn't have a steller time and am affirmed that it was the right move for self to be lazy-butt today.

No joke, that clutch is hideous, samples I got were not useful for me. Sephora brand body butter, WEI face cream, Smashbox primer, L'occitane face cream, Perfekt skin perfection gel, Algenist gel moisturizer, all in foil packets. Womp womp. I also got a few random foil packets thrown in with my order FAB repair cream,Ole henriksen sheer transformation. I was really ticked at the low stock of several items and that they were out of stuff. No excuse for that five minutes into a sale to be out of stock of obvious items like NARS concealer and Hourglass blushes or powders.

I also got these samples, but my store also had samples in the shopping bags. I posted a picture in the VIB Rouge thread but I don't feel like reposting here lol

Yep, exact same samples here.

My store had additional samples at each "station" that were handed out if you had your hair done or tried on makeup etc. Some shampoo and some perfumes. There may have been more I just didn't get.

Hahahahaha, I went straight from sephora to work so I was photographing this right outside of my job /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> not the nicest of photos but you could pretty much tell it wasn't really worth the trip there based on the samples they gave out.

@elizabethrose thanks again for coming with me! yes, i did! and also the dior lip product that the dior rep tested on me. i got home, and my lips were still tinted with a very pretty natural color. it's definitely something i've been looking for, and i can already see myself using it everyday. i hope you're enjoying your goodies!

it swatched beautifully in store, so it might be true that it gets better with time. i don't have it with me yet (i bought some items on my list online, some in store), but i can't wait to test it out. i'll def try scraping the top layer gently if it's too stiff as some reviews say.

i know! a lot of great YSL products don't seem to get much talk. they're all gorgeous, and the texture was so unique and blends effortlessly. i can't wait to wear it tomorrow!
