Anyone know of any other Fresh dupes not tested on animals/sold in china? i had the fresh one in plum(prior to knowing they sold inching- sigh) but it faded fast and it melted/evaporated one day...but i liked the color. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
Have you tried Hurraw? It's vegan. I think it feels pretty similar and I love it. It's $3-$6 a pop depending on where you get it. I think the cherry one is the only tinted one though, the rest are just flavored. They feel really, really nice.

Oh that's cool! Lip stuff that's vegan and not tested on animals at three to six dollars? Sounds awesome if I see it I will probably get it

No haven't heard of it. Not really informed on vegan products  :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I'll check it out. Hoping it's more of a black cherry than cherry? Red and I are not friends! The closest I have been able to find is the Wet N Wild sheers but it's more of a frosty mauve than a brown purple...Thanks for the suggestion!!

It's like a soft hint of color. It might mot be what you're looking for in terms of color but to me it feels pretty similar.

I guess it's sold out. I don't see it on my account anymore.

i figured as much, although most of the time other people will still find it on their account and all i'll see is the sephora brand ones lol

I don't know the rhyme or reason to the 500 pt perks.  Depending on where on the site I look I'll see different perks still being available-- sometimes a set I thought was out of stock will show up at checkout, etc.

These things tend to sell out almost immediately -- and then come back within a day or two.

I just want to give a big thanks to the ladies here who recently posted all the positive comments regarding benefits brow bar. I have always been afraid to have my brows done by anyone, for fear of them getting messed up and look stupid, but I have always desired to have them shaped by someone who knows what they are doing. Reading all the great comments here a few days ago gave me the push to go into ulta today and try it out. I had a lovely experience! The tech was very friendly and knowledgeable, she talked about how to find your shape and explained what she was doing as she did it. I couldn't be happier with the results, and it's immediately boosted my confidence in my appearance. Thanks for indirectly pushing me out of my comfort zone, I am very grateful for this community!

So, like a lot of you (I'm guessing) I tend to put together a basket/cart of items and let it sit for a while...and I load samples in it or different code freebies, etc. The other day, the 5 sample period expired and went back to the normal 3sample settings, but I had 4 samples loaded in my cart that were available, so I made a $6 purchase that went through just to see what would happen with the 4 samples. I got my order today (24ish hours later?! Wow!) and I have 4 samples included, but 3 of them are substitutions. 2 of the subs I know I hate and one is from a company where I've had bad skin reactions to other product samples. I'm bummed. Moral of the story: if you load your cart with extra samples you will still get that same # of samples after the promotion ends! but you probably won't get the samples you asked for, even if they are still marked as available? :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I still have the 5 in my cart and was wondering if it would let me keep them.  I'm scared to switch any of them in case it takes the extras away.

Yeah, you won't be able to switch them out. I started with 5 in my cart, but one sample was out of stock since I had added it days before so I couldn't re-add a 5th one. I hope that makes sense. I don't know if it's worth it to get extra samples that you might not like, but I'm picky and I've tried a lot of things at this point, so I tend to get sample repeats.

Aw man! Sephora raised the price of many of the Soap&Glory products. Things like body scrub used to be $20, now $25....minis were $5 now $6. Bummer! Still same prices on the S&G website, but Sephora gives me free shipping.

I used to get my brows threaded too until they accidentally threaded off the tail end of my brows. I complained and she was like "what are you talking about? They're fine! Oh btw if you want to buy brow powder or something we sell it at the counter) >.>

I'm glad I could help!!

Also, I had the WORST threading experience when I lived in SF and couldn't see my regular girl. I don't know if I'm just extremely sensitive to it or if this girl didn't know what she was doing, but the entire time it felt like I was getting a rug burn. I mentioned it and she said it was normal. It finally got so painful I made her stop after she was done with the first one. First of all she threaded way too much- they looked ridiculous- secondly as the minutes wore on I could tell something was seriously wrong. To sum it up, I basically had a giant BLISTER all over my eyebrow from the burn she caused. I'm so lucky it didn't cause scarring, but the pain was out of control. I don't know why I didn't take more action against her and the shop.

That. sounds. horrible. (Thank goodness it didn't scar!!!)

I've never had mine threaded... not sure if I want to now, lol.

When I lived in DC I regularly went to the lady with a kiosk in Union Station. Totally pain free. Cheap. Super fast (like SUPER FAST) and they always looked fantastic. Downside was that I'm laying back in a chair in union station while everyone looked at me. The Milwaukee threaders are much heavier handed, a little slower, and I honestly feel like they mess up on purpose sometimes. My sister has gotten the brow powder talk before and that girl has PHENOMENAL BROWS (she has more of dad's genes...). Your experience sounds horrific! There are some good brow-shapers out here in Milwaukee but as a grad student I can't shell out $25 on the regular for a brow wax :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I seriously think this was a combination of me being especially sensitive to the thread (my eye skin is very, very thin and fragile I think?) and the girl having no idea what she was doing, because I've only ever heard similar stories online one or two times. I'll never have them done again because it has caused me an irrational fear & I love my eyebrow girl anyway, but I wouldn't be scared at all to try it unless you have VERY sensitive/delicate skin there. Also, I seriously could tell almost immediately that something was wrong, but back then I had a really difficult time speaking up for myself. The point is, you'd be able to tell IMMEDIATELY if something was going on and make it stop, which I'm completely sure wouldn't happen anyway. But yes, it was AWFUL.
