You saved me from disappointment myself. Thank you! I want to try a new Naked gloss, but for this one, I'll pass.

I got the 100 point perk at Sephora today and it is the Naked in Lovechild. Its super teeny tiny, shorter and thinner than my pinky.

If you're Rouge, the store by my office will give you one sample at checkout, usually a skincare foil. That's it.

In semi-related news, the UD Naked gloss point perk is back up. I *hate* Lip Junkie (and any other plumping lip product), but I do want to try one of the Naked glosses, so I decided to go for it even though the link goes to LJ instead of Naked like the photo. It has been my experience that when the text/link and photo don't match, the photo is correct, so fingers crossed!
Somebody asked about this gloss perk on facebook.  Sephora responded it is in fact the lip junkie (old) gloss, not a new Naked gloss.  I commented somebody should change the picture then, because people are going to be mad when it doesn't match... but who knows...the facebook response could be wrong too.

Now somebody who gets their orders the next day go order that perk, so we can all know for sure, LOL! :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

In store it is the same Naked gloss that UD sent out in some orders as a special preview, teeny tiny!

I'm excited to try the mascara.... But I have this thing about using one mascara before I open another (even a sample). Mascaras don't last very long as it is, so I try to use as much of a tube as I can Before it's time to toss it. Does anyone else feel that way? I've heard you should toss mascara after three months but a sales associate at a department store recently told me 6 weeks due to germs and allergies. I try to use it longer than six weeks (it's only my own germs after all) but I don't go to three months anymore either. I have a ton of unused mascaras in a little bucket waiting to be opened and loved.... But I love my current mascara a lot.... Bobbi Brown Lash Glamour Extreme. It's awesome. I don't see how it can be out-done in my eyes.

6 weeks is really excessive imo. If YOU don't get allergies or anything then why scared to use mascars until their intended expiry date. The US has quite dry weather so cosmetics def last longer as well. If you toss them early because you have others to get through then that's another story.

With all the beauty boxes I sub to I get at least one mascara (sample size) a month. I regularly toss mine once a month or so and just move to the next one to try.  When I get full sizes I use them for a few months 2-3 depending on how much I like it. I'd say if they are not causing you any discomfort then using one for anywhere between 6 weeks to 3 months is probably fine, maybe even longer if you're comfortable.

I've never known anyone who's gotten an infection or allergy from using mascara for too long, but I'm sure it can and does happen.

I do the same with one tube at a time.  I keep one open at work and one open at home.  I think you're fine to use them as long as you are comfortable!  The only time I ever had a bad reaction to mascara was when I was first getting into makeup a few years ago.  I had a Maybelline Full n Soft open for...13 months before I tossed it, since I wasn't using it every day and I was still naive about makeup expiring.

Completely agree that 6 weeks is excessive - and I told the sales person that.

I usually go about 2-3 months. I find that mascara tends to get a bit dried up (and sometimes clumpy) after that and doesn't work as well, regardless of how much is really left in the tube.

Made my first online buy this year ...I've been so good! Bought a Josie Maran complexion set for $68. Freebies- Killer Queen Gucci something or other YSL rebel nudes Glamglow Jack black-to appease hubby UD naked gloss Lancôme lip lover in Framboise Etoile-says it's a red but doesn't look like it to me! Come to me my pretties! MUST. HAVE. ALL. THE. LIPPIES!!!

i usually have 10 open at any given time...but that's because i really really love mascaras and love trying them out. i'm resisting to open the many more in my unopened mascara box.. i usually keep them for 6 months, since i don't use each of them everyday. if i detect the hint of itching or any irritation, then obviously i'll toss it right away. i'm not too paranoid...but will definitely toss it after 6 months...sometimes 7 haha. i love my mascaras!!

Given that the ladies on this thread are so knowledgeable, I thought that I would ask you guys my question...

MUF has put out a line of pigments that are pro only, so they aren't available at Sephora.  It's about the season here in Texas where I need to go darker with my foundation, and it would be great to figure out how I could get my hands on the brown pigment, so that I don't have to invest in different foundation, but could just add a drop of brown to the foundations that I have.  Anyone have any ideas on this?  There is a MUF academy in Dallas.  Can you get it there?

The mini Givenchy lipstick.... I'm sorry that the VIBLUXE went so quickly, but if anyone would like to trade for it, please PM me.  I got another one of the exact same sample in my Barney's GWP event, so I have an extra.  I don't have a trade list, but I'm really not picky.

I got my order!  Yay flash!!

The invoice says: Lip Junkie Lipgloss in Naked but the actual product is Naked Lipgloss in Love Child.  It's also teeny!

.04 oz

Ok I love my Rouge free shipping but I do have to say that my stuff cleared the warehouse much faster when I did not have free shipping. I feel so grouchy for complaining but I went from same day or next morning ship confirmation to 2 days later for shipping with Rouge (assuming it ships today, and no it hasn't been just this order) I do like having the free shipping for smaller orders so it's not a perk I'd want to give up but I'm a little sad that Flash seems so much better when I spent so much at Sephora last year and Flash is not an available option for me.

Don't be too sad. I used the mini Givenchy today and wasn't that impressed... I did just use the YSL sample the day before though (and fell in LOVE with it), so maybe I was just spoiled.
This helps, I just got my ysl same today, I love it too!

I've noticed this too. My order from March 2nd still hasn't shipped :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Half a dozen of my orders placed in late February, I think February 26th, have not been authorized and will not be shipped.

Just a heads up, they are doing something with the multiple small orders.

I've placed half a dozen orders for the $2 pencil sharpeners.  I send 7 to 10 beauty bags to AFG each month and usually include either a mascara or eye-liner in each kit and I like to  send a sharpener along with the eye-liners, because it's not like they can come across these things and though they might have one for their pencils, it's best to keep things seperate.

So each of the 6 or 7 orders had a $2 sharpners, 3 samples and an i-phone felt sleeve (via code) and they've simply not been approved.  It's no big deal personally, just a pity that's all.

Saw this on the other Sephora thread yesterday.  VIBLOVER for VIB or VIBR to get a deluxe mini of Lancome lip lover balm.

The e-mail also reminded of offers for VIB/VIBR to get access to the Divergent makeup, Sephora + Pantone Radiant Orchid lipstick, Caudalie Polyphenol Anti-Wrinkle Serum, Dr.Jart home peeling system, Maison Martin Margelia fragrance, etc.

I ordered last Friday around noon and my order was shipped by Friday night. I think it just varies on how busy they are. Most of my orders ship within 12 hours.
