oil blotters are $5 aren't they? or you could get those awesome cotton pads + a shower gel cap. there's also soap & glory minis (scrub and body butter) for $5

I decided to skip the GWP. I can wait a few months and get the item that I really want for decent discount (the hourglass primer). Someone on Sephora's forum posted that Chic Week begins in late March. I think I can wait until then.

I came to post here because I'm really close to pulling the trigger on a cart on Sephora to get the 3 minis.  I put in 2 UD eyeshadows I've been wanting.  The trouble is, I don't really need them and I DEFINITELY don't need to spend the $44 it ends up being after shipping and tax.   I just really want to try the Hourglass primer and I don't know if I'll have a chance without wasting a lot of money on the full size.  Is the mini hourglass primer something that may show up as a point perk in the future or has been in the past?

I've had foil packets of the HG primer (sample comes inside HG foundation box) but never seen as 100point perk. If you can't stomach the heart wrenching $52 for the full size, they have a .33 oz size for $18. I got this small guy and it's lasted me several months since I only use primer once orl twice a week. It's also included with another HG primer in a kit with lipgloss and mascara, so that would be a great way to try out both primers and get your hands on some other products!

I started thinking like him earlier, and didn't make a purchase.  It kept eating at my brain though...  why spend 36$ on a full size lipstick I probably wont entirely finish before it goes bad/I move on to another color...when I can buy 35$ in other stuff I know I'll end up buying soon anyways, and get the lippie in a usable amount for free!

I'm surprised all three options are still all available!  The lippies and hourglass products usually go super fast.  I ordered Nars blush in Sex Appeal and a 5$ black glitter liquid eyeliner by Sephora.  I recently bought the waterproof version of the same color, and love it, so this will be a great back up.  Got all three items in the promo code since they were all available.

The other day I was complaining about a foundation sample being wrong formula and too dark.  I sent a direct message to Sephora on FB like they said to.  Told them my opinions on it, and that I wasn't expecting anything, it is what it is, just sucks etc.

Then I caved into curiosity and got the 250 pt perk for the Carven perfume the other week.  Once my order shipped it said the perfume wasn't available in the US, but it still took my points away.  So I sent another DM to them about that if it doesn't show...

I got responses back about each issue from them... they gave me 100 points for the foundation sample issue.  I responded it was appreciated but not necessary, they said don't worry about it and to enjoy the extra points.  I'm assuming they are more for having the same issue from the same warehouse recently more so than the sample being wrong.

Then the order with the perfume came in today, and the perfume was there!!  It smells really nice.  Floral and slightly fruity, but very light and not too young smelling, doesn't change to powder or old smelling later on.  Then I got mad, because once I'm out, I'm out, lol.

When I replied back that it did in fact show up in my order, they said that it was strange because it is a restricted item.  I hope they eventually get it to sell here in the US this year, it'll be a sad day in this house when I'm all out.

And I hate Nars Orgasm blush.  It sucks on me/my coloring.  I really wanted to try the illuminator that was free with promo though, and it came in my order today.  I'm pleased to report that it is awesome!  Nothing like the blush on my cheeks, and not too shimmery.  Freaking awesome that the full size tube was free with the promo!  I might just buy the Nordstrom exclusive Adelaide next month if it is still in stock too.

I love hearing ramblings!! Carven is newly available at Nordstrom, so once you run out, it will be possible to repurchase. I seriously considered getting the Carven perk I'm sad it won't be available anymore. Maybe it is exclusive to Nordstrom now?? I'd like to try to get a sample. I'm not a fan of NARS orgasm blush, but I did get the illuminator and I havent tried it yet, but now I am excited to test it out. I had bought Sex Appeal a few months ago and returned it...it wasn't dark enough for a blush and it wasn't light enough for a highlighter. I was disappointed, but hopefully it will work for you!! I'm obsessed with NARS! I really like the whole Final Cut collection that was at Nordstrom this spring, it was still in stock a week or two ago.
