Did you email them or call their 1-800 #?

There's also a $10 for $20 groupon out there in case you're doing shopping at the body shop!!

I get the feeling that Sephora's site will not be crashing this year  :laughno: ... On a tangent, if anyone's fan of Bodyshop, they usually have 3 for $30 on T-Day and an add on mistletote for $30 with $100 value in products.  The 3 for $30 is a good time to try their creams and serums that run $20 to $37 or anything else!

I emailed them several times. I had placed an online order and my card was charged. The problem is, items are still showing in my cart and the order is not showing in my current orders. After texting them they said the order had been run through numerous times and declined. The card had funds and currently does. However, the charge from them to my card only shows once. I attached a copy of the card authorization to them. But they still say all charges have been declined. Still not sure why there would be more than one or why it is showing declined. I will have to call tomorrow, both the card company and sephora.

That's good to know! Is this online or in store? I was just pondering over whether to buy the groupon but I'm not sure I want to drive to the mall and I don't know if the groupon will work with in store buy 3 get 3 type promotions.

That's what I would do.. call the credit card company and Sephora (if you're a VIB call the VIB #). Hope everything works out for you!

The Groupon is for instore purchases.  I know the 3 for $30 is for online, it is probably for instore as well.  Might want to call to make sure.

I use them in the store all the time! It's good with all promotions and your Love Your Body card and point redemptions! And the staff will help uh get th most out of it!

I also got another booklet thinger of perfumes.  An extra which was also tossed in my last order with the Nars blush.

I'm not sure what to think of these extra samples on my little $3 order.  My more conspiratorial self is thinking that Sephora is sneakily letting customers know that samples aren't that big of a deal to them, even on stupid $3 orders, and to stop freaking out about it, lol.  But then my more rational self is like, no, Sephora doesn't pay that much attention to chatter that they'd go to these lengths, it's probably just underpaid warehouse guys.

The Nars blush was a suprisingly flattering shade on me, but my God, the glitter is obnoxious.  I used a brush, and I washed it twice and can't get the glitter out of it from one application!  Seriously, I stroke the brush on the inside of my arm after washing and drying it twice now, and my arm is covered in glitter!  WTF?  I'm afraid of this Nars product!

I again called them and came right out and said everything I've heard on this blog and asked them where they stood on $1 orders, esp for Rouge members, and they swore up and down they don't flag customers for making $1 orders and that I was welcome to do it and get my 3 samples until the cows come home. But I believe the girls on this thread. I don't know what to make of it. I also wrote them again and they just said Flash/Rouge members are able to order as often as they wanted to, for as small an order as they wanted. I really don't know.

I did... trust me, it's not worth it. The two mystery items for me were a .17oz bottle of Light Blue POUR HOMME!! and something else I don't even remember. I took it back.

What I think is happening is a disconnect between the CSRs and other groups - either the policy creators or the ones who back-end maintenance the accounts. I've worked with and trained CSRs. Some are great and know everything, including things that were never covered in their training. The legal and process departments unknowingly love these people as they do not create extra work for them. Then there are the CSRs who don't actually understand the information they've been taught or just start saying what they feel should be the policy (or what some other uninformed person passionately told them) without checking to see what the truth is. I've had CSRs I was training and sitting next to them as I heard the entire call give entirely false information to a caller regarding their financial products. When I asked them why they did that, it boiled down to them not immediately knowing the answer and not wanting to take the time to find out. But, oh, they sounded so sincere and confident as they gave that person that very very wrong information. I had to frantically wave signs in their faces to put the person on hold so I could get them to stop creating legal liabilities and accept that we provided informational databases for a reason.

Sephora CSRs could genuinely believe that there is no policy against multiple small orders. Or someone on their floor felt that that was the right thing to do and so the rumour spread. Meanwhile, actual policy practices on the accounts review side could be very different. The only sure way to get a definitive answer is to get a written statement cleared by the Sephora legal department. The CSR's "supervisor" is also not a source to seek. In my experience the "supervisor" is actually a senior CSR with more experience and knowledge than the rest of the CSR pool, that has been granted some extra decision powers that don't go against stated policies.

See, I got 3 of these sets, because to me, they are super worth it. I love all the items and now I'm stocked up for traveling for a really long time. I'd rather spend my points on something like this than 100 points on a single item, but that's just me.
Oh cool. I didn't see any chatter about this set on the thread so I thought no one else was excited by it. I think I'll keep this one. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Ooh thanks for the heads up on the Glam Glow...did they have a bunch and was it the Super Mud and/or Youth Mud? I'm in ♥ with the stuff.
I honestly think it was maybe returns or old code stuff...It was just a little round bin with random deluxe samples????  It was the one in the black bottle...The only difference I know about glamglow is the white bottle and the black bottle.  Sorry:-/

I am ALWAYS complaining on here about Sephora CS!!!!  Sephora has literally THE WORST Customer Service out of ANY company I deal with...Maybe I have just been spoiled by Birchbox, Ipsy, and Julep..>When I used to shop a lot more at Ulta, I vaguely recall them having less than stellar CS as well....

Agree with this. I actually avoid sephora unless I get a good promo code and happen to be out of something. I used to love them but their incentives are so weak in terms of code stacking sampling etc. I'd have to spend $200 at sephora to get the equivalent of a birchbox pick two deluxe sample pack. Combined with the CS that seems driven by avoiding helping people rather than helping people I just can't. The thing I love about them is their selection and the brands they carry. Oh Sephora...
