Note on the Lavanilla deodorant. It appears to almost be more of an anti-deal since the travel size of plain vanilla can be purchased for $8 regularly. Granted you can't get that grapefruit scent outside of the trio as far as I can tell, but that trio is $22 for 3 travel sizes.

So, um, I'm a little confused by that one.
I have a feeling that someone made a mistake, and used a picture of the travel size instead of the full size for the picture.

I just got my order of three $3 nails inc sets and they included NO SAMPLES!!!! Not one...They aren't even checked off on the packing list:-(  I e mailed them, but historically they don't really care and I don't they will do anything.  I placed another $30 order the day before that one which arrived on the same day, so I am thinking maybe that had something to do with it...
Wow.  Just got an email response.  They credited my account 25 points.  Hey, its something!

So I purchased the Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick that they had featured at the bottom of the page last week....Did anyone else get this?  I know it is a mini, but wow it is the tiniest little thing I have ever seen!!!!!!!  It is definitely the smallest mini I have ever seen.....I want to return it so so badly, but I have been trying to find a good blue-based red lipstick and the reviews on this are so good...So I am going to try it before I decide if I am going to exchange it....   Also, at my local Sephora IJCP, by the register they have a little bucket of minis for $5 each...Well in there they had a GlamGlow sample that is twice the size of the one they offered for 100 points!!!!  So I spent $100 to get a $2.50 sample...My Sephora lets me exchange point perks...I was half tempted to return it and buy the bigger one...
Ooh thanks for the heads up on the Glam Glow...did they have a bunch and was it the Super Mud and/or Youth Mud? I'm in ♥ with the stuff.

I tried to quote on my phone a few days ago about the hand cream issue.  I've been so busy at work and haven't had anytime for MUT! :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I love the L'Occitane shea butter limited edition hand creams.  This year the scents are rose, jasmine, and violet.  I'm sensitive to scents and I don't find the shea butter ones overpowering like the regular hand creams sometimes are.  Sephora has the set of three but I sometimes pick up an extra tube of my favorite scent at the actual L'Occitane store.

Also did anyone else get the Caudalie 500 point perk?  I got a sample of the divine oil and I've wanted to try more Caudalie products since then.  But then I read the theory about saving the points for five 100 point items.  The Caudalie set only has 3 items and now that I have them, they seem kind of small.   But when I was calculating the value, I thought it was worth around $50....

I'll post a picture from my phone when I get a chance.  Do you all think I should try to return it and get the points back?  It was the first time I felt like I really wanted the perk but now I'm rethinking...

Here's the picture:

The cleanser is 1.69 fl oz, the serum is 0.33 fl oz and the moisturizer is 0.33 fl oz. Any advice?

I'm one of the 'saving my points for worthy 100 point items' proponens, but with that said, I think it's got to be what your situation is.

I'm working part-time and dollars are tight and I'd rather have 3 Lancome Green Tea face creams for gifting with the holiday season coming up.

If I were fully employed and heading some place nice for a vacation or cruise for 7 to 10 days and love Caudalie (which I do) and I had a bunch of points, I'd get it, or it's just nice to have around the holidays for small trips.

You mentioned that it was worth $50 and serums are usually costly.  I think that's pretty good value.  I've used points for the higher valued face creams, but I've also used it on the little lippys that I wished I hadn't (Stila, that thing's a mess to use).  I think I also got a mini bottle of the nail polish top coat too and these 2 are clearly not a high value items.

Does getting the set give you the same happiness 'utility' that 5 of the singles would?  That might be a good way of looking at it as well.

The text says mini as well & looks like someone commented the pin with the same concern. The more I look, the less interested I am. I'll see if I can snag the living proof one since it will be an excellent travel size of my favorite shampoo & conditioner that I'm too skittish to drop the $$ on, but nothing is leaping out at me as an especially good deal. I might just skip it entirely. Hmm. I do want the aqua creams though...I'm not sure how that will work.

Same here...there are like ten items that I want, including 3 bottles of Purity.

Do I need to get the Lorac Unzipped and the Naked 3? They are similar color families but the formulation seems different enough. Decisions...

Is the line-up of the Black Friday pretty much all out?

I'm wondering if there will there be anymore additions.  I guess I'm not too excited about what I see thus far.  Not too many 'deals' in the sense of a Black Friday worthy savings magnitude.  I was also hoping for more exciting minis to play with... Might get the Clean trio.

That is a really good way to think about it.  This is the first thing I have ever redeemed points (and I don't have that many!) so I think I just needed some reassurance.  Thanks!!

Ugh, my Sephora never has things like this. I think I get the short end of the stick living in LA, everything good is always gone, everywhere. I have to go to the suburbs to find awesome deals, lol.

Thank you,

Another thing I've been wondering...Last time my account didnt accept the blitz bag code the 2nd time so I made a new account and order from there . Well, I didn't wanna pay for shipping fee so I ordered an extra same item to get my order over $50, then I returned 1 of the 2 items. Today when I visited that account I saw I have 25 points only (of only 1 item that I've kept). When returning that item, I also returned 2 other things from my main account, however *this is the part Im wondering* my main account never got deducted with the points earned from those returned items. Why there is a difference btw these 2 accounts? FYI, my main account just got to VIB and the other one is just a BI. What r your experiences?

My experience has been that Sephora does deduct points for returned products, usually within the same day.  I'd view them not deducting from the VIB account more as an exception rather then the norm.

Yup! I lose points when I make a return even if I'm making a return without a receipt (they scan my VIB card)

Does anyone have any idea how big the 100 point Yu-Be reward is? I really love this cream, but I need to be able to see if it's worth the 100 points, and it isn't the super tiny one I got in a subscription box a little while back.

I get the feeling that Sephora's site will not be crashing this year

...

On a tangent, if anyone's fan of Bodyshop, they usually have 3 for $30 on T-Day and an add on mistletote for $30 with $100 value in products.  The 3 for $30 is a good time to try their creams and serums that run $20 to $37 or anything else!

I am really disappointed in Sephora Customer Service. They are not helpful or knowledgeable, with billing issues. This is really sad because I had started doing a lot Of my shopping there. Has anyone else found this to be the case?

See, I got 3 of these sets, because to me, they are super worth it. I love all the items and now I'm stocked up for traveling for a really long time. I'd rather spend my points on something like this than 100 points on a single item, but that's just me.
