I got my first order and of course I got a wedding BB Dakota  /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />... 

If I get it, I am going to try my hand at dying it. Pretty much the only occasion I would wear it for is weddings I attend ... and it is NOT okay to wear that dress as a wedding attendee!

It really is! I tried it on and It's even more lovely than I thought. I normally shy away from those style of dresses. It's too bad it's too small in the bust on me at a size 2. So it's up for swaps.

I still couldn't find the MC listing for my other surprises. But I had time to take pics today so here they are.

Both of these dresses are M and a bit loose on me and they are up for swapping too.

The booties are soooo comfortable! They are actually lined with fur and will definitely keep me warm this winter. I got similar booties in the last surprise, just a lighter shade of brown, and no fur lining. I'm surprised I got fur lined booties when most of the stock is spring/summer items.

I am renewing vows this December and even though I have a dress I think I am going to keep it and used in our reception /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />... These are actually a darker brown





The first dress had a great style and fit but I can't rock the pattern. Otherwise I like everything and had good luck with fit after sizing up. Good luck to those still waiting on their orders!

Way to dissapoint, ModCloth. I got THREE of the wedding dress (2x size 6 and 1x size 8). I might try to use one as a halloween costume...go as a dead bride or something. But I really have no clue what to do with the others. At least other people got duplicates that might be able to sell or trade. But the wedding dresses dont make great items for trading. 

Other than that, I got a size 12 maxi (since when is size 12 a Medium?) and a cute white Chi Chi dress that doesnt fit. This one was certainly a bust.

Is it the same wedding dress a lot of people have been getting? It would be much less wedding and more clubbing/special event if it were mid-thigh/knee length, IMO you could even get away with it staying white, but of course it could be dyed as well.

My FedEx tracking says information sent to my local PO, so there is a possibility I could get them tomorrow (though I'm not holding my breathe for that lol). It'd be nice since I have a birthday party tomorrow afternoon and I'm doing a day trip with my friend Sun, so if atleast one of my dresses is a cute, non-wedding dress, I have places to wear them haha.

This is exactly what I was thinking, it could easily be shortened or dyed, and turned in to a whole new dress! Its really not *that* wedding looking, aside from being long and white (based on the pictures I've seen, anyway).

In other news, my package is out for delivery, but my fedex dude is weird and inconsistent and makes me sign for some things, but not for others (like makes the biggest deal out of clothes but then left my keurig from influenster (which clearly said keurig on the box) on the porch of my entire apartment complex, when everyone elses packages are brought inside to the front of their doors. So we'll see what he decides to do with this when my friend goes by to check on my cat tonight.

Also, here's the two pairs of shoes my friend got in her stylish surprise - I figured I would share them here because I can't get her to post on MUT and she didn't post them on instagram. She's super happy with both pairs, and the sandals had actually been on her wishlist.

Oh I love those sandals!  

I need new fancy sandals to wear to work.  I have a pair that I bought at Target a few months ago that I wear about every other day and they're starting to break. (I can wear flip flops, but I feel like they're too casual, so I like *fancy* flip flops, lol.)

Ahhhhhhhh my stylish surprise stuff is here!!!!

First up, the infamous BB Dakota wedding dress. I for one am THRILLED, because I have wanted a nice whimsical dress to wear to my rehearsal dinner, but my budget has been super tight, I so was going to just recycle something I already had. I am sosososo excited though.

I'm curious, but have any plus sizers gotten that bb dakota dress? I'm plus size so I'm kind of hoping I won't get it due to it being available for smaller sizes only. It's definitely not my style at all, but the dress is nowhere to be seen when it comes to plus sizers sharing what they've gotten. At least from what I've seen, since I don't check facebook at all.

@@curled I just got my stylish surprise this morning and I'm plus sized and got the BB Dakota dress. So they do have them and are sending them in plus sizes. I, too, was hoping they weren't LOL (I hadn't seen any plus size ones on IG or FB or anywhere either)

So as I mentioned, I got the infamous BB Dakota...unfortunately, it wouldn't zip up over my chest, or else I'd have tried to make it work either trying to dye or cut or just wear it for Halloween, but the chest seems a bit small for the overall size of it.

My second dress is amazing though!!!! LOVE IT! It's exactly the kind of thing I wanted to get and it fits perfectly! The quality is really great, too! It's a heavy fabric with a nice lining. So happy!
