So I ordered three dresses and two got cancelled. This is the one that was actually sent (also, disclaimer: this is my first time posting a picture here, apologies if it doesn't work or is huge).

It's a little out there for my everyday wear but I like that it's made of sturdy, high quality material. Also, the original price was $150! I haven't decided if I'll keep it yet.

So good news with my BB Dakota wedding dress. I was hanging out with my cousin the other day, when she said next week her and her boyfriend are getting married, just at a courthouse thing (my cousin has anxiety and hates the thought of being center of attention and making people shell out money to go to a wedding annoys her, so no "real" wedding) and I was like, "I have a wedding dress!!!!"

She wasn't sure if she was going to wear a white dress and stuff, but she said if it was kind of casual she'd wear it. I ordered it a size larger than I wear and it was still like two sizes too small for me, so I figured it would be just the right size for her and it was! She gave me $20 for it so it paid for both of my dresses LOL

It was like a foot too long for her, but she can cut/hem it herself, so hooray! I'm excited about the perfect timing of the dress and having a use for it!

Well I *finally* got an email about my pending order - surprise surprise, it's been canceled and the ~generous code was just a (unique) 20% off code that must be used within 90 days. I wish it would've at least included free shipping, considering I used a free shipping code on that order...

I got that email and deleted it without even reading it - I'm so glad you caught it! I think last time they went on sale around 11EST, but I could be wrong. I think it was only 2x a year - once in March, once in September. I wonder just how much stock they could've accumulated in the past 5-6 weeks (considering how they oversold last time and had the whole canceled orders thing). I'm willing to bet most of it is halloween-related, which is 100% fine by me because I LOVE halloween and I always joke that every day is halloween in my world.
