I LOVE Kiehl's! Best stuff ever.
AN ENTIRE STORE OF IT. And the people were so nice and told me I had nice skin and pretty hair. It was amazing.

Day Three down.

Due to some miscalculations on my own part, I'm actually going to see how long I can go not buying ANYTHING beyond the obvious food/groceries/gas. May even quit smoking. We shall see :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

That's great! I'm glad everything went smoothly. I've been reading your blog, and it's very inspirational. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> When can you eat normal food?

Also, you guys would be proud of me: I finally got around to returning my Clarisonic, and I am sitting on a little card with $175 of Sephora store credit. I didn't buy a thing!

Hi! I am new in this thread and "returning the Clarisonic" caught my attention. May I ask why? I am planning to buy one but its on back order in a website wherein I can get it for $60.00. Slots opened earlier but people are soooooo fast.

I definitely need to do this, too. I went waaaaay over budget with my spring shopping yesterday.

It just didn't work for me. I started getting a ton of cystic acne and little zit bumps all over my face, and this was well after the "purge" phase--nearly two months. I tried different brush heads and made sure I cleaned it thoroughly every night, but the acne wouldn't stop! So, I quit using it, and my face is almost back to normal. After doing some research, I found that yep, it just doesn't work for some people. And I wanted it to so badly! The woman at Sephora kept trying to convince me that it wasn't the Clarisonic, that it was me doing something wrong, because "they aren't supposed to do that". Well, derp. If I wanted a machine that made me look like the before on a Proactiv commercial, then it was perfecto! Gah. If you get one, get it from Sephora! They have a great return policy, so I was able to get store credit, so that's the good thing.

Over halfway through this no-buy, and I've not purchased a single beauty-related item! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I'm so proud of myself. My bank account sure isn't complaining either ha. I think after March is over, I'm going to go to a low-buy. This whole experience has really taught me about self-control, needs vs. wants, and just learning to be happy with what I have. Ah, life lessons. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Ok, restart for me. I was bad and hit up the Nick Chavez sale. But in my defense, $15 for 5 Nick Chavez products is pretty darn amazing. Plus, these were things that I actually do need/have a use for.

Sephora lady is bad at retention. LOL. yeah, y force someone to keep it if you know for yourself it really doesnt work, right? Im glad ur face is okay now. I actually have one from Olay and I use it less now because of the same issue. I alternate it with facial scrub every other day and I think my skin likes it better. I might try buying but I think not now. Thanks for sharing :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I know right? I know it works for some (my mom LOVES hers), but what's good for one person isn't necessarily good for another. But yeah, if you do decide to go for the Clarisonic, make sure wherever you get it from has good return policies just in case! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Please dont diet and try to quit smoking at the same time. I can't afford to lose my outside support person b/c she went completely mad and murdered someone that crossed her! LOL

Ugh I went to Sephora to get my birthday gift and just failed. The one good thing is I only got things I was out of or broken so I'm throwing away three things in my collection and replacing them with three things. The only thing I got extra was a makeup primer, and I never had one. I luckily avoided all the cool "deals."

I'm back from my camping trip! I got ALOT of sun so I see myself plowing through all my moisturizers and probably needing more if I didn't get any in my subs.

But the great news is I came home with my new sword and dagger! Which I absolutely love! And cost a pretty penny so I REALLY don't have any money for cosmetics this month so my no buy is still pretty much going strong. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Oh, no, baby girl. God invented Xanax for a reason :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

And today, I did NOT follow my diet. I'm still within good parameters, just not wicked low like I should be. You saw the before/after pix. You see why I wanna get back to THAT!

You know, I'm glad Isabel and Pancua are back. This place has seemed empty without their sunshine.
