How often do you wash your hair?

I'm starting to wash it every other day or so depending on if I had to put any product in the day before or not.

Everyday! Sometimes it can get a little dry, but I work out everyday so if I don't wash it I feel pretty disgusting.

3 times each week + after training. Between my washes I use dry shampoo from Batiste.

I think it depends on your hair.

I usually wash every 3 or 4 days. in winter i could wash it every week..

I have super dry hair, if i washed my hair everyday, yikes..

I only wash my hair once a week. I have quite thick hair and it just does not get greasy, so it looks ok, I usually tie it back at the end of the week.

I am now thinking I am pretty disgusting to only wash my hair once a week, but it is such a rigmarole styling it afterwards, it is a 2 hour job to wash and dry etc, so I do it on a Saturday morning. I do shower daily by the way...and I wear a silk hair cap in bed as that stops the bedhead frizz and it stays styled overnight using that.

Every other day, unless I do a wet set, then I get another day out of it. I curl my hair, so everyday washing would make that impossible, since curl only lasts on day old hair, unless you do a wet set.

Used to wash it every day.... but since my hair started thinning I switched to every 3rd day.... that along with topical monoxidil and Biotin supliments... my hair is thickening up and growing back in!

I usually wash my hair every other day, but how often I wash my hair also depends on what kind of week I'm having, and if my hair is getting oily or not. For instance, if I'm a hermit all week and see no one, then I just leave my hair up for a few days and give my hair a rest.

Twice a week. Sundays and Wednesdays. It used to be every other day but over the years I've weened my hair. Sometimes I do conditioner only. Sometimes I do the apple cider vinegar/baking soda route. Sometimes I use a scalp shampoo. It just depends on what I think my hair needs that week.  If my roots start getting oily in between washings, I use baby powder.

I noticed that if I just let my hair air dry with no product (which is what I do 99% of the time) then my hair gets oily faster and I want to wash it daily. But when I take the time to mousse my roots and blow dry, I can go two or three days by using dry shampoo in between.

You shouldn't shampoo your hair everyday unless you have a very, very oily scalp..which isn't all that common. You want to wait at least a day in between shampooing your hair. I would suggest using a dry shampoo in between washes if you do experience some oil. I think a lot of people get product build-up and oil confused. I always recommend to my clients a clarifying shampoo (normally Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two or Three, depending on hair type and product usage) once or twice a week to give the hair and scalp a deep cleanse. :]

Usually so rarely that I don't remember the last time I washed it. I think it usually works out to every 4 or 5 days? I don't get it wet or anything in between washes, if i can help it. My bangs get washed every other day or so in the sink, though.

I have massive amounts of fine, wavy hair. Dry shampoo is the best :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I wash my hair everyday - with shampoo and conditioner. I noticed that I got a lot of hair fall, could it be the reason?

I wash my hair almost every day. I may be able to get away without washing my hair every other day but Im training for a half marathon and work-out 3-4 days a week, so I always wash my hair after my work outs.

When I wash my hair I shampoo at least once, sometimes twice if my hair is disgusting, and then use a pin prick size of conditioner and then spritz with Sebastian's Potion 9 Lite. And every Sunday I use Joico K-Pak Revitaluxe.

If my hair is looking a bit dingey, but I don't have time to shower, I use either baby powder or aersol, dry shampoo.
