EWWWWWWWWWWW.... Check out the unblended shadow, the awful brows, The crazy excessive bronzer. Oh and I was 50 lbs heavier...

I am putting myself out there though...and I learned and got better. Maybe some of you can gain courage or inspiration from this awful pic of me....LOL
Haha. That made me laugh, sorry.
But yeah, like Kee said - you improve and all. I dunno, once you step your foot in... get a feel for it, you'll like it. And I never really liked any of my entries but I'm trying at least...

PCD one may not be challenging enough - but try it... I found it challenging more than the Feline one in imo.

I said it once and I'll say it again....it's only as challenging as you make it. Sorry if this sounds mean.....people who aren't even entering are saying it isn't challenging enough...or motivating enough??? If you don't enter how do you know?

Dude, wtf... you and kee are chatting on MSN and not with Celly?

I will enter someday. Still feeling my way around the site. I already play with different looks/colors and photograph them, for now I post them in my online photo album and love getting feedback on it from my visitors. I think itwill be interesting to create within a theme.

I actually love DTB's! I've only entered like three times, for the raver one I did all the stuff and then forgot to upload the pics I got so mad! Lol. I haven't entered more times because I always get excited about doing something I have in mind and then I don't have the time to do it properly, I know perfection is not what we're after but I want to do my best. Most DTB's have really good themes, I just miss the deadlines lol.

I forgot to add. DTB's is what brought me to MUT lol. I joined because I wanted to enter DTB's and they're really fun too.

I have only entered one D2B contest. But honestly, if I don't even have the supplies required to do a certain D2B, I won't even consider doing it. I won't go out and buy m/u I will not use again just to do a D2B.

I have launched real attempts at previous D2Bs, this one included, and after looking at my pictures, I feel as if it were not captured in the best way to really show the m/u, it usually looks muddled, blurry, or washed out with my crappy Polaroid digi-cam. I do the best with what equipments I have.

The biggest impediment to my posting though is my camera shyness. I do have a very real aversion to posting up pictures of myself to be judged on any level, even if it's not a beauty contest. I know for the most part, everybody is quite supportive, and that is encouraging.

I think next time I wanna enter, I will post my pics, but decline to have them judged. That will probably ease my anxiety a bit.

If that's what it takes, then go for it! I still say you should enter that pic from your profile, I just love it! Very PCDish, much more so than my poses for sure!

Stereoxgirl told me we have until tomorrow night! I thought it was over tonight but it's not! Go for it!!!!

Ok...can I just say I LOVE D2B CHALLENGES!!! So far I've entered every single one since I became a member. The first one, I was really nervous, but I thought, ok, this is a challenge that is simple enough for a beginner like me, and I didn't need any extra materials that I didn't already have. I just had to dig through my closet for a sexy secretary outfit, but that's about it. It was really fun for me, and all the D2B themes are all exciting to me. It's a Dare to Be Challenge-- the keyword here being "dare". So I take it as a good opportunity to challenge myself and see what I can do with makeup. I've recently just began getting into makeup and now I'm officially obsessed. Seeing as I've been very broke recently, I own more drugstore makeup than I do high-end brands. But I still enter, just using whatever I already got.

I find these challenges so fun that I'm starting a scrapbook just for the photos I take for each challenge. It's like Halloween every two weeks!!! You get to play around with makeup, try on outfits, and camwhore like no other. How can that NOT be fun, right? I also like the idea of looking back in the future and seeing how I improve (hopefully) and just seeing fun themes and makeup styles I've tried.

I disagree with the D2B challenges being a beauty/popularity contest. I won't vote for someone just because she's my friend; I vote for which entry has portrayed the theme the best. Looking back at the winner's circle, I think it's pretty obvious that people on MUT vote fairly as well.

My boyfriend's pretty supportive, and I'm thankful that he really gets me. We're both really passionate and we totally get each other-- I get how he's obsessed with boxing and cars and he gets how I love makeup. He gets to vote first on which of my pics he likes the best. LOL

This is a great way of looking at it! I'm really looking forward to participating over the next few months, I just hope there aren't any outlandish themes where I can't participate because of an outfit or accessories or whatnot! I do have a decent assortment of eye shadows though, so that's good
