Will feather hair extensions still popular in 2012?

Feather hair extensions is very popular in 2011,But i fond some wigs store are introducing Crystal hair extension.Will Crystal hair extension replace feather hair extensions in 2012? What's your opinion?

I didn't think it was popular this year (2011), I didn't see anyone walking around with feather extensions - not 1.  I think you should wear whatever looks good on you and don't mind what's popular.  I'm not a fan of feather extensions, my hair's too short.

Interesting question. I think the trend is out. I didn't see it at all on the runways for Spring 2012. Braids are back in a big way this year, so I'm expecting to see lots of braids and braid clip in extensions. Crystal hair extensions would be interesting - I haven't seen too much of it yet but I can see how that would catch on.

I had to go look up crystal hair extensions.  That was new to me.  I like the feathers.  Me and all my daughters had them for awhile. It was popular in my kids schools too.

I'm surprised that tinsel extensions never caught on like feather extensions. I like the crystal ones more but for special occasions since it's prettier than crystal hair clips.

The crystal extensions are pretty. I have seen the magnetic ones on a clear strand and the beaded crystals at hairfeatherprincess.etsy.com for extremely great prices. Fun to try out for not a lot of money.
