I am in search of a good exfoliator...it would be helpful to see which ones you guys are using.

My whole skin care regime is pretty much exfoliation. I cleanse, tone and moisturise with products containing glycolic acid. But for a scrubby grainy exfoliation, I use Avon Anew Clinical Microdermabration. Its in this white tube, youve probably heard of it and seen it before. Its really really good for exfoliation. Leaves skin super super smooth and well exfoliated. Love it! :icon_chee

I get in office microdermabrasion treatments but for home I just use baking soda or aspirin mask.

I recently began using something by DHC Skincare, called just "Facial Scrub", which I love. It has apricot seed granules that really do the job gently! (I also like all exfoliators by Dermalogica and Clarins.)

i'm probably sound like a broken record by now, but Dermalogica's Microfoliant is fabulous! it is a gentle exfoliant that you use once a day when you wash your face. i get compliments on my skin, and when people ask what i use, i always recommend it to them! oh yeah...it is sort of expensive...like $50...but lasts forever.

I like to try different ones so I tend to chop and change, depending on how my skin feels. I tend to alternate between:

Dr Brandts microdermabrasion in a jar

Chanel maximum radiance exfoliatar

Origins modern friction

Dermalogica microfoliant

I am going to buy the new one by freeze 24-7 called ice crystals and also the clinique 15 minute facial one this weekend.

I use Origins Modern Friction or Liz Earle's exfoliator.

I remove my cleanser with a muslin cloth, so this has a mildly exfoliating action too.

I second Sierra with the DHC Facial Scrub--it does a great job for everyday exfoliation, and it's creamy and non-drying without being goopy on my already oily skin. A cheapie but goodie is always the St. Ives Apricot Scrubs--the medicated does wonders for my chest and back when I have breakouts.

For more intense exfoliation, I use City Face Thermal Micro-D treatment--I love that it heats up upon application--I think it makes it more relaxing! It's pretty powerful stuff, though, so if I have any open cuts on my face or my hands, I have to skip it because it gets pretty stingy!

Have a happy day!

Jen

I use a pasty mixture of Olive Oil & Sugar. Works quite well I have sensitive skin & it leaves it smooth without burning or itching.

i use Burts Bees Citrus Spice exfoliater. its like $8 and it lasts a long time since its really concentrated.

i love it personally, and it doesnt dry your skin out. but i wouldnt recomend it for sensitive skin cause it can be kinda rough.

is it 1:2 ratio? then you just leave it on to your face? or scrub it in your body/ face? and wash it off with water and soap? sorry..so ignorant..

2x a week I use a 30% glycolic acid peel, and daily I use a copper peptide serum (it's a skin regenerator like retinols, but easier on skin).

I use a soft facial brush 1-2 times a week - the only thing that has ever worked well for me. I also use the aspirin mask and baking soda on occassions and these work well too. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
