For those of you who have requested perfume samples, how do you word those emails?
Well, I just say that I´ve heard about the new perfume XXX and that I would love to try that. Simple as that. COTE is really awesome- I got Chloe perfume samples and Marc Jacobs samples from them. But not these crappy postcards- nice little glass ones! The customer service is super friendly!

What I have gotten in the last couple of days.

Uberliss (they wrote me almost a month ago saying that they ran out of samples. They just showed up today! Nice to know that they kept me in mind. That is some good customer service. The rest are from Marc Jacobs (perfume) Apivita, Bilelements and Erbaviva (they gave me two more but my little one is already using them!)

These are from The Laundress, Goldfaden MD and Jerlique again! I think they made a mistake because this is my second sample package from them with slightly different stuff. Not complaining..... ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
Cool mistake!

Wow, Jane Iredale is on the ball!  I emailed them asking for samples (I'm thinking about changing over to mineral makeup but have *no clue* where to start, so I've been emailing a bunch of companies this morning) an hour ago.  I already have shipping confirmation!  But it looks like they're just sending a sample in light beige.  Shades with "beige" in their name tend to be way too dark and warm for me no matter how "light" they claim to be.  I was hoping for a range of shades since I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to play Goldilocks with this stuff.  I didn't start wearing any sort of base/foundation until just last fall because everything I tried just seemed too dark, even when I tried to get color matched at counters.  I'm over 40.  This seems to be a very advanced age to get to without wearing foundation.  Oh, well.  At least I'm just out the amount of time it took to send the email rather than however much their stuff costs.

I got only this tiny powder from them which is way too light for me!

I got a bunch of different colored powders from them.  But I don't wear powder ever because my skin is way too dry.  I have them on my trade list if anyone is interested.

The beige color you mentioned actually is pretty light.  I am quite fair and it looked like it could work for even my complexion.

I also have dry skin, but mineral makeup (not "powder") is actually very hydrating. If you wear it over lotion it locks in the moisture.

Aside from a big bag full of Clinique samples/GWP items I got from my grandmother (adding to my sample stash, as if I needed more lol), these are the samples I got yesterday:

Ziaja, Vie Collection, and glo professionals...you'll notice something funny if you look at the samples I got from glo, one of the white foils is a "volumizing breast cream"!!! So weird. I also got a couple other skincare products, 5 shades of pressed powder, an illuminator, a lipgloss sample, and a couple of haircare items. Unfortunately, no pumpkin mask :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Nice haul! Yeah I got the breast cream too. My girls were laughing at that! They said that I didn't need any, like I need any reminding. Too bad you didn't get the punkin mask, but the one from My Chelle is really good too. Did you get samples from them yet? If so, try it out. It really feels like its doing something!

Nice! Lol the breast cream is not needed here either. Maybe they have a breast minimizing cream? Hahahahaha! Or no! Better, how about a butt minimizing cream! LOL!!!

I got samples yesterday from My Chelle (about 7 or 8 packets) and Sumbody. They sent me 2 blush samples, 2 mineral foundation samples, 2 eyeshadow samples and a sample of soap. They were all in baggies, but I don't mind cause I just dump them in little containers and use them like that. They last quite a while so I was excited to get them! Sorry, too lazy to take pics :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I got baggies from sumbody and did not like the look at all. I know it's handmade but this was so unappealing, I gave it to my mother in law...

Yeah I definitely don't need it either! I did get My Chelle samples, but I don't think they included the pumpkin mask unfortunately. If they're that good, I might have to splurge and buy one! Was the glo your favorite?

I just got a skincare sample from them, one of the full infusion serum, so no baggies. Kinda glad I didn't ask for makeup; I know it's usable like that, to put into other containers, but I probably wouldn't have used it when compared to all my other, prettier makeup lol.

Yeah, my favorite was from glo and My Chelle was a close second. They smell so good!
