That was pretty much how I worded it too. I have seriously sensitive skin and would love to try makeup that won't cause me to flair up. I'm terrible at calling places though so I may drop the ball on this one. I have severe social anxiety.Originally Posted by Sage32 /img/forum/go_quote.gif
They don't have makeup for sale as a sample. I just asked to try some because I have sensitive skin and I'd like to try different colors too. I have seen people get skincare samples also. So if you are interested in both, just ask I guess! I got a reply on my ticket (you have to go to the site and check your ticket. They wont email you) and it had a # to call, so I did and the lady made me up some samples.
It wasn't bad calling them. And I don't think you have to. They said you could or I think you can wait for the response from the person online. I just called to expedite it. I called and 3 days later I got them. They are in New York and I am in Washington state! So it was fast. So what you do is, when you get the response back from them and they say that you can have samples, and ask what you are interested in, you can call that # and they will look up your ticket. When they look it up, they will see that you were already approved to get samples. She just asked what I was interested in. I told her blush, foundation and lipstick, gloss. She then asked what color range etc. Then said she would make them right up. Painless! And I tried the makeup today and really like it. I really like the blush, it is natural and a little goes a long way, cause they don't put much in there. But it will last a while. Not too excited about the lipstick samples. They are cut and put in plastic containers, so its small, but they colors are kind of sheer. If you get some, let me now what you think.Originally Posted by Jamie P /img/forum/go_quote.gif

It is fun! I have been at it for two weeks and have gotten samples from 36 companies already and I am still waiting on 20 more! I just started trying them all out and really like a few things so far. And they are expensive too, but that's what birthdays are for. I'm kind of on a no buy because of all the samples I have been getting. I told my husband that if I end up really liking something, then I'll wait to get it for a special occasion to get it! We should start a more recent master list. I have a list of the one's I have contacted because I emailed it to a friend.Originally Posted by OpheliaDiFranco /img/forum/go_quote.gif
Hey fellow samplers!
Just wanted to thank you all for your posts! I started this process months ago and have acquired two large Tupperware bins of samples. I haven't had to buy products since (but of course I have). It will probably take me over a year to get through them. It has been wonderful, but I slightly regret it, as I have fallen in love with about 10 products now that were quite pricey. I have contacted over 150 companies already and have gotten probably 60 yesses. I just stay up to date on this forum and keep a list of who you guys get yesses from and every week I take about an hour and send out emails. Not only had this been a great way to try new products, it's also kinda a fun hobby
I cant remember how long it took for me to receive my MAKE samples, but I know it was long enough for me to think I wasn't going to receive them. I think it was longer than a month, but it was worth the wait! The samples are huge, and I love everything they sent.Originally Posted by Souly /img/forum/go_quote.gif
Does anyone remember how long it took Make to send samples out? I'm being impatient.
I can not find their email? Do you have a website?I cant remember how long it took for me to receive my MAKE samples, but I know it was long enough for me to think I wasn't going to receive them. I think it was longer than a month, but it was worth the wait! The samples are huge, and I love everything they sent.
Thanks! I will try to be patient /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />Originally Posted by Tigerlilly6309 /img/forum/go_quote.gif

Besame told me also, they don´t have samples, but they "produce" some in the future...hm...Originally Posted by Sage32 /img/forum/go_quote.gif
Hmm. That's strange. Maybe I got lucky and I got someone to slip one to me! But honestly I really don't know. I just wrote a nice note, nothing special, and she sent me one. I don't have a blog or anything, so I don't do reviews. I think that sometimes people get lucky, just like you see with some people getting the full sized products.
Excuse my laziness (AKA not searching the thread /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> ), but who have you all received hair product samples from? I badly need a new shampoo/conditioner routine. Oscar Blandi and dermaorganics send samples I know.
