Hmm. That's strange. Maybe I got lucky and I got someone to slip one to me! But honestly I really don't know. I just wrote a nice note, nothing special, and she sent me one. I don't have a blog or anything, so I don't do reviews. I think that sometimes people get lucky, just like you see with some people getting the full sized products.

This is what I got in the mail yesterday.

Original Sprout, Archipelago Botanicals, Skyn Iceland, Dermalogica (they sent one more packet) and Tokyo Milk. I like that I am getting a good variety of haircare, skincare, body care and makeup. There is also some things in here for my toddler! She liked the Original Sprout stuff :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

That's a shame. I was really looking forward to their products. They haven't had a sample pack available on their site since earlier in the year; almost 6 months at this point. They have been telling people that they will be back "soon" since the end of February.

This is from today.

Living Proof, Actifirm, DermaDoctor, Ole Henriksen, Nature's Gate and S.W. Basics. I don't know what S.W. sent me, it wasn't labeled. If anyone knows, that would be a big help!

I figured I'd come and post some pictures of what I've gotten thanks to tips from you all! I've divided up the samples I've gotten into skincare, haircare, and makeup/fragrance. Not pictured are wickless candle samples from Archipelago and essential oils from Essence of Vali, as well as four small test jars of skincare products from Skyn Iceland, because they are in my bathroom right now--their products are amazing!

Anyway, on to the photos :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Skincare first.

Dr Hauschka, Naturopathica, EmerginC, nia24, and red flower.

DermOrganics, Koh Gen Do, Weleda, John Masters Organics, Shankara, and Ren.

Murad, Actifirm, Malin + Goetz, Ole Henriksen, Wen East, Eve Lom.

Juice Beauty, Caudalie, Gabriel Organics, Essential Herbology, Aubrey Organics, vbeaute, Omorovicza, xtendlife.

Paula's Choice, Acure Organics.

Hair care:

Dermorganics, Macadamia, Original Sprout, Living Proof, Malin + Goetz, John Masters Organics.

Makeup and fragrance:

Studio Gear CC cream, Coty fragrances, Hugo Boss fragrance, Dr. Brandt BB cream, Jane Iredale BB cream and primer, Koh Gen Do foundation.

I've only been at this a couple of weeks, and I'm quite impressed so far! It's going to take me awhile to try everything out, and hopefully I'll find some new HG products while I'm at it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Wow that's a lot of stuff!

Wow, I'm impressed by all of the samples you ladies have received. I emailed a few companies I saw on here, hoping to get some samples as well.

I get so excited seeing Paula's Choice samples. Been using her stuff for YEARS and couldn't live without her BHAs. I really am shocked at how many samples you guys are getting. A bunch of these companies never got back to me... I need to try again.

Oh you have inspired me to email again. I am  hoping for some responses! This feels like going to a thrift store... digging through everything to find the amazing item you would have never found if you didn't dig. Using these samples has led me to some interesting finds I would have never heard of before.

Yeah, I have found a couple of products I really like so far. Glo - professionals has a really awesome pumpkin scrub (better than the June Jacobs) and I want it! I also really like the makeup from Jane Iredale. I like the mineral foundation, the lip plumper and the lip and cheek stain. I will be making some purchases once I run out of samples. Its weird to see people get no's when other have gotten yes's. I wish it was a more even playing ground. Don't give up though! I have gotten tons, and yesterday I just got 3 more packages in the mail and I am waiting on 24 more that have said yes!

Does anyone remember how long it took Make to send samples out? I'm being impatient.

Oh boo, thanks for posting so I know not to bother.  I also got a no today from Tokyo Milk, however, Juice Beauty is going to send me some samples :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

This is what I got in the mail this week so far.

This stuff is from Skin By Monica. It came in a cute pouch. In the middle is VMV. I asked for samples of makeup. They are foundation, BB cream, blush, lipstick/glosses. And the white boxes are stuff she just threw in, toothpaste, cleanser, sunscreen and a full size lip gloss! I am so happy :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />  The last things are from Beauty Society. She sent me 5 packets of a face collection and a vile of body oil. Can't wait to try them!

This is stuff from Mario B, Jessie's, L'occitane (minus two perfume packets, I used them already) L'Oreal (I didn't contact directly, it was from a link) And I got the Kiehl's from Nordstroms, just thought I'd throw them in here cause they were free! I really liked the perfume I got from L'occitane. It was their verbena scent. I am going to have my husband get it for me for my birthday. Its so fresh smelling!

They don't have makeup for sale as a sample. I just asked to try some because I have sensitive skin and I'd like to try different colors too. I have seen people get skincare samples also. So if you are interested in both, just ask I guess! I got a reply on my ticket (you have to go to the site and check your ticket. They wont email you) and it had a # to call, so I did and the lady made me up some samples.

Hey guys! Just a question, do you send out thank you emails to the companies that send you samples? I try and write a personal note to each place that sends me samples. I like to thank them even though some places send the same to every one. I think its nice to let them know its appreciated. I spent about an hour sending out notes today!
