My understanding is that La Face is a very small company that has unexpectedly grown by leaps and bounds in a short amount of time.   It seems like Lisa is trying to answer all email requests personally.  It was good of her and La Face to provide you with samples of their products.
Don't really condone driving and texting/e-mailing but it sounds like the company is going through some growing pains, haha. Their samples seem to be in all sorts of sub boxes recently.

Your right about the texting and driving.  I don't do that personally, but if I did, I certainly wouldn't admit to it!

Oh, for sure! And they were the same size samples that have been in Birchbox!! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I was pleased and have already set out to purchase the full size primer (which is awesome, btw). I was impressed with the product, but equally unimpressed with the lack of professionalism in the emails. Personal opinion. She was nice, but not the type of email format/grammar that I would expect from a CEO of any company, large or small.

A while ago, I emailed Nuxe, and requested a sample for their dry oil, and they said they would gladly mail a sample to me. I haven't received anything from them yet so I was wondering if any of you have gotten from them and how long it took?

I had the same experience with Nuxe.  They said they would send me some samples and I never received anything.  It seems that some companies just take a longer time to send things out, so I'm still hoping.  It was probably 2 months or longer before I received products from Number 4 hair care.  Some other companies I requested samples from took a while too.  I really would like to try something from Nuxe, so I'm hoping they're just slow in sending things out.

I received the DermOrganic trial kits of hair and skin care products again today.  This is the 3rd time they sent me these kits.  I'm not complaining, I love their products and I'm very happy to have them.  Its just funny that this is the 3rd time I've received them.

I have to say I love your products, and I for one am happy to see a CEO directly corresponding with the customers. You don't get that much anymore, it's very refreshing!

I'm going to wait it out too. DermOrganic sends out more than once??

I'm getting samples from Rosemira Organics! Mira (founder) is the only person formulating, packaging, responding to emails, etc. so we've been emailing back and forth for like 2 months now, maybe? I think it started with a skin profile on her site. I wasn't expecting a full blown list of recommendations. I kept sending her general skin questions. I wasn't expecting samples - I eventually did ask for them though - because I was learning so much!

No need to worry, I ADORE LAFACE (already made two purchases!) :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> and I'm thankful that a CEO can find time in a busy day to respond to little ole me... I can overlook grammatical errors, because we're human -- But -- don't do it and drive!! I'll gladly wait a little longer for an email because we need the LAFACE CEO around for eternity...

hello ladies..i thought i would let you all know I got a yes from gosmile...if thats interests anyone...and i have been waiting for nuxe samples for 6 months. although i seen some ladiesmon this thread actually did receive samples from them.

Was thinking about emailing LAFACE for samples, but looking at the site it seems they are mostly out of my price range, so I will pass. Rose Mia Organics looks interesting, but they sound like they only give samples when you book a $50 consultation!? No thanks!!!!! I did email Gosmile because I would love to sample some whitening products to see if I get any sensitivities with them. My teeth are looking a bit yellow so I would purchase items if they worked. I have yet to get anything from Erno Laszlo...

Yeah Rosemira had a free consultation weekend. I learned a lot about her products and skincare in general. I'm excited to see how the products work. ...but I realized that I didn't update my address so the package will be sent to my school apartment! Hopefully my boyfriend will be able to get it.

I only made one request for samples.  I received the big skin care and hair care trial packs they have been sending to everyone, then about a week or so later I received the trial kits again, and then the other day, I received them for a 3rd time.  I'm guessing its a mistake or computer glitch or something.  I'm pleased as punch though.  I love their products!

I received 2 packages from Aubrey Organics too.  The first package contained a nice selection of hair care products.  I really liked what they sent me, so I sent them an email to thank them for the samples and told them how much I liked the products.  A couple of weeks later I received a package of skin care products.

In case anyone is thinking of placing an order with Sephora - they have some great samples available.  I just placed an order that was under 25.00 so I didn't get the deluxe sample offer they have with a 25.00 order, but one of the 3 free samples they have right now is a Guerlain Maxi Lash mascara and also a tube of a REN glycolic face mask. there are other samples to choose from as always, but those 2 appear to be good for a few uses.

I received some samples from REN in the mail a few weeks ago - deluxe sizes of cleanser, day cream, night cream and night time serum as well as a few packets.  I chose the Glycolic mask sample from Sephora because I thought it would go well with the other REN samples I have.  Guerlain is my all time favorite makeup brand (I love the Meteorites bronzer and powders) but I don't think I've used a Guerlain mascara, so I thought that would be a good one for me to try.   The 3rd sample I chose is Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion+ Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ For Face/Body.  That one is a packet, but 'tis the season.

This is my birthday month, so I also got my birthday gift - Benefit mascara and a highlighter.  They gave me a choice of the Benefit products, the Sugar lip balms from last year, or a men's shaving cream.

I love that benefit mascara!! I must have more! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
Me too!!! I can't bring myself to buy a full size though since I know there's 1) a bunch floating around in trade world 2) I already have too many mascara samples!

I'm almost afraid to look at the price too. I got it in my bday gift from sephora. I have like 8 mini mascaras so I'm refraining from buying more too.

Possibly odd question but I'm still new to a lot of this stuff....

Does Ulta make samples for you like Sephora will?   I just worked up the nerve to ask for samples at Sephora last weekend.  I've never been to an Ulta before but I really want to try some stuff that is exclusive to them.
