Months ago when I filled out their survey, a few days later I received an automated type email showing their suggested products and would I like to try some samples.. You have to click on a link. Their Drying cream (I think it's called) is my new HG product. I don't get a lot of actual blemishes but do get bumps on my Chin (always touching it ugh) and I put this on and it clears up! I buy it from Nordstroms since they have free shipping.

my jane iredale came in! they sent three small pans of foundation in 3 colors. she did say she would send lip products but did not - oh well! can't ask for too much!

I'm gonna be said when the samples stop coming...I like fun mail :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Today I received Nuxe (skincare) Archipelago (bath goodies), Caldrea (hand soap and lotion), Oribe (hair goodies), Living Proof (hair goodies).

I know! That is why I stopped for a while and now I email one or two at a time and space it out. I have been emailing perfume companies lately because I am looking for a new scent. Not as many yes'es but a little success :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Ah, I haven't thought about that. Yeah, I'm going to space them out. I have a couple stuck in my head right now, but I'm going to wait and ask.

I'm

The Drying Cream and Strawberry Scrub have certainly piqued my interest.  I wonder if you can get samples of their products in person at Nordstrom.
I don't shop in nordstroms very often so I'm not sure.. When I got the samples in the mail there was a cleanser, toner, face mask, eye cream and the drying cream. I actually ordered one for my 13 year old that has VERY dry skin and hers came with different products including a kiwi scrub. Side note, my Ulta sells this but they aren't online.

i use to get tons of samples and id always search for free sample websites lol I stopped cause i had 3 bircboxes filled with samples, but now i email some every month or so

I filled out the questionnaire on the Mario Badescu website and about a month later I received about 12 deluxe size samples.

Tatcha has free samples on their website for the price of shipping and handling.  I'm getting deluxe sized eye cream and cleanser, plus a few packets.  I posted about this on the Birchbox thread and someone else said Tatcha had other samples as well.

I really wanted to try the Joanna Vargas serum.  It's kind of expensive so I wanted to try a sample before I purchased it to make sure I wouldn't have an allergic reaction.  I heard back today: "Joanna Vargas doesn't do samples".

Free stuff I've gotten the past two days!! Oscar blandi sent quite a few foil packs too..
400

I received some very generous sized samples from Sunday Riley a few months ago.  I sent an email to the email address on the website to ask if they had a sample of the Juno body oil.  I received good size bottle of that and also the face serum.  I used the Juno oil they sent me on my legs daily for a good two weeks.  The face serum lasted almost as long as that too.

Yup!  They do have samples for Birchbox though, so they must have samples.  I've kind of lost my interest in JV products now.  It would have been better if they had just not responded at all.

I went to the Origins store at my mall and got a few samples.  One of the samples I received is the Drink Up Intensive Mask.  This stuff is amazing!  It felt ok when it was on my skin, but it was after I washed it off the next day that I really noticed the difference.  I couldn't get back to the mall fast enough to purchase the full size!

If anyone has an Origins store or an Origins counter in their Macys, you need to ask to try this mask!

Their loss! Honestly, I got that green serum in my birchbox and felt it was just okay. It almost felt sticky to an extent, and the sample didn't do enough to make me think about replacing my regular old argan oil that I use post-washing, before moisturizer every day.

And thanks for the Origins tip. My skin is oily, but my mom has dry skin and she is always at Macy's, so I have to tell her to ask to try that out.
