They were definitely generous!  I was so happy to see the size, amount, and quality of the samples.  I can't wait to try them--especially the Jane Iredale lip products!

Yay, exciting!  I bet you will get great samples too!  You should post which samples you get and which ones you like/would recommend!  I plan to make a purchase as well.   :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Macademia agreed to send me a sample of the deep repair mask today!  I'm excited, I really need a good one, and trying to find products that work well with keratin treatments is a little overwhelming to me - I never know where to start because there are just so many brands that claim to do so many things.  I wouldn't have thought to ask without this thread, either; I'm just resigned to always getting the woNicrst Birchboxes (though I've unsubbed now).
Nice!  I've heard great things about Macademia.  I emailed them as well, but I'm still waiting to hear back.

Macadamia deep repair mask is super amazing. I got a sample in my Beauty Army and LOVED it. I go through hair dying phases (every two weeks! Yikes!) but just one use made a difference. I left mine on for several hours vs the 7 minutes it says on the package. I'm excited to try the oil they sent me.

The lady I talked to was super nice and asked me what I wanted to sample. I told her to surprise me cause I wanna try it all. Haha. Although i did say i would like to try a blush cause ive been looking for a good one. When i receive the samples i will post pics. How long did it take yours to come?

Hi ladies, I looked to see if there was a thread about this topic but I couldn't find anything. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone would like to share which companies they have emailed requesting samples and if you were successful. I would like to share the companies I have emailed. Dr Denese- I emailed requesting samples. I didn't get a reply but I received a Manila envelope with 8-10 sample packets. Malin + Goetz - I emailed and received a reply asking me what I was looking for and they mailed me two regular envelopes with 7-8 samples in each. Lancerx dermatology- I emailed and received no reply but received a package through usps with 9 samples. Three cards with three samples in each. Mario Badescu- filled out the online questionnaire and they emailed me asking if I would like to sample and sent me 8-10 small jars. Xtend life- emailed and received a reply letting me know they would send samples and I received 3 deluxe sized tubes. Skyn Iceland- I emailed and they emailed back and sent me 6 samples in small jars. I just wanted to share and I would be more than happy to share if I come across anymore. Please share if you have had any luck. Thank you!!

I'm pretty sure she was referring to this one. Based on the content of the post that was quoted, jilla's post wasn't originally included in this topic.
Oh okay, thanks!  For a minute there I thought I was posting in the wrong thread.

I started using the DermOrganics face wash and like it so far. I also really like the body lotion which seems similar to cerave. I have been using cerave ever since a dermatologist friend recommended it to me, but it's nice to know about another similar product

Wow! They sent you very generous samples...Enjoy!  I'm going to have to start emailing some companies starting with Jane Iredale which I've been really wanting to try first before buying & the DermOrganic too.

I am really excited to try these!

For those of you getting those huge samples from Jane Iredale, how did you word your email!? Did you include that you are a blogger, or just asked for samples? I am (honestly) on the hunt for the perfect foundation/other face makeup for my super dry skin... and I basically talked about that and asked if they had samples to try things out.

I have two things from them already (a face mitt and an eyeshadow) I just mentioned I have those, and love them, and was interested in trying other products. They told me they only had foundations available to test so that should be perfect for you!

I just received my Actifirm discovery kit today! The sample sizes are great- a 30 day supply! According to the website, this is a $42 kit!

I wrote a nice, personalized email that showed an interest in the company and I mentioned that I was interested in finding a lip color that would look natural against my pale skin.  The woman who replied to my email was incredibly nice and helpful.  I think you should have good luck, because it seems like they have plenty of foundation samples right now.  Hope you find what you're looking for!

Oscar Blandi sent me a nice supply of hair stuff. A cute little dry heat protect spray which I'm guessing is dry shampoo with heat protecting qualities either way super excited to try that out. Actifirm sent me two very nice size mushroom masks.
