I just have to put in a good word for Beecology. I didn't ask for samples, I just wanted to find out if they used any nut products as my daughter is extremely allergic. They emailed back to say their products were nut free; thats it. But a week later I received a little box filled with goodies! 3 satchels if mini soap bars with three slivers in each and 4 1oz. Bottles if their shampoo and lotion. Sweetest part was the hand written note saying they hoped my daughter enjoys:). I will definitely be making a purchase and supporting a company that takes customer service seriously! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Soooooo. I started this process LESS THAN A WEEK AGO and this Is all I received so far. I have individual pics but I won't clog the thread. These are samples from 14 companies. I have received confirmation and am awaiting samples from 19 more companies. I am still waiting to hear from 34 more companies. Only 9 companies said they could not send me samples and of them, 5 had samples available for purchase. I have actually purchased from some. I have a sample addiction apparently. I am making a spreadsheet of all the companies and the contact links and outcome. As soon as I finish my project I will make it available for everyone! I started this for my own benefit, as I am very loyal and assuming I really do like the products, I will remember the generousity and exceptional customer service (and lack thereof) of these companies. What I have found so far: Arcona has great customer service! DermOrganics has great sized samples. Marula is stingy with their samples...erno laszlo has great samples...love the Archipelago stuff but does anyone know if there's actually a use for it or do we just smell it???? Overall this has been a great experience and I can't wait to update everyone!!!
 
I gave up. All the companies I contacted told me no. Even Shea Terra which bummed me out considering I was really wanting to try the black soap. I think I will give it another go.

I had two packages from DermOrganic waiting for me today. They are extremely generous with their samples. I cannot wait till I use up my current conditioner and face wash to dive into theirs. I like that they give you enough product to actually use and test.

I've tried some exuviance samples, and am curious to try more. How did you contact Neostrata to get those samples?

I asked their customer service; the Archipelago ones are just scent samples. They purposely don't put candle wicks in them. You could melt them down and put in your own wicks; not worth it to me, but some people like candle making and the actual candles are expensive.
 
I got a bunch of archipelago sample stuff yesterday and was wondering wth? Thanks for clearing that up. Lol. Ill put the non-skanky smelling ones in my tart burner :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
