I tried my samples from Wei last night. I used the Chinese Rose foaming cleanser - to me it smelled like hair dye (yuck). and the Mud Mask (smelled like raspberries - yum- but it made my face feel hot).  At the end of the session, my skin feels super smooth.  It seems everyone else likes Wei but me.  I guess that's because Im in love with No 7 hot towel cleanser.

Anyone purchase the samples from boscia for 2.50? Were the sampłes packets or tubes deciding if I should order some. I love their products thànks
mine were all packets but definitely. Worth the 2.50! I got 5 days worth of use out of the bb cream by depoting it. The woman was super nice.

I sent a request to VMV Hypoallegenics and received the most extensive reply from a sample request that I have ever gotten. They really seem to want to provide a sample package geared to your own personal requests. Did any of you that sent a request get a response like this? (if you have received samples from them, how are they) If you are interested in sending a request here is their website address http://www.vmvhypoallergenics.com/ here is their reply: Thank you for contacting VMV HYPOALLERGENICS® and for giving us the chance to help! While many of our products come in standard sample sizes year round and can be purchased for 75 cents. Some, like most of our make-up products, need to be customized for you. Skintangible samples are on their way but in the meantime... If you happen to live in or near New York City, or be traveling to Manhattan soon, our boutique at 62 Crosby (between Spring and Broome in Soho) carries our complete product line and has samples and testers galore, too (plus our beauty-editor-fave, clinically-sound spa services!). Should you need to, we can be reached at 212-217-2762 or (212) 226 7309. We'd also be happy to send you a sample for you to try. As these samples would be lab batches customized for you, they would take about 7-10 to prepare and another 5-7 days to get to you. If this is acceptable to you, we would need to know: 1) Your complete shipping address where someone can receive a package during normal working hours and a phone number where you can be reached (FedEx, USPS and other couriers require this in case of delivery problems); 2) What you are interested in. You mentioned Skintangible "Faint"ation BBBB cream but are you also interested in other products such as skin care for pigmentations, acne, redness/inflammation, or aging? Sun and Light screens? Hair-Body-Bath Care? Or makeup like blushes, foundations, lipsticks, etc.? If the latter, could you give us a range of colors that you tend to prefer (for foundations and powders, you can tell us a little about your skin tone or give us a shade from another brand that suits you; for color products you can specify general hue families like reds, pinks, earth tones, neutrals, etc.). This way we can maximize your samples package. 3) Particular diagnoses we need to keep in mind, e.g. hormonal conditions, psoriasis or a specific dermatitis, rosacea or other conditions for which you may be taking steroids, etc. 4) A bit about your skin history, concerns and goals. 5) Any medications that you are currently taking (including birth control pills, nutritional supplements, vitamins, etc.). 6) If you've had a patch test, please include your list of allergens. Sharing the results with us can help us filter out possible cross reactants that may not be immediately obvious (or that allergen databases like CARD/CAMP may not yet have updated). You can attach your results to this support ticket as a document, type it into this correspondence directly, or fax it to us in the USA at +1-646-395-1568. 7) For very sensitive skin, we normally suggest that you first complete a 7-Day "Skin Fast" before and while trying the samples that we send you. If you are interested in this, please let us know and we'll include samples that you'll need for this, too. More information on the 7-Day Skin Fast can be found here: We look forward to hearing from you soon. Skincerely, VMV Client and Physician Support

I tried the Chinese rose cleanser as well and it didn't take my eye makeup off very well. I tried the line filler and it was kinda waxy and it balled up when I applied some BB cream over it. I received a couple different masks I think I will try one tonight.

wow! they seem so nice! How exactly did u ask them? Just wondering because it seems I have a knack of getting a big fat no or a no reply at all from companies that alot of people have good luck with. I don't want to screw this one up! Lol

I just told them I was looking to change up my skincare regimen and was interested in trying their products.I told them that I had read reviews about their products, which is true because I always look for reviews before I send a sample request because I'm not going to send a sample request to a company just for the sake of getting something from them. I ask companies for samples that the products are suitable for me to try (I didn't ask for samples from Miss Jessie haircare because their products seem to be geared towards a different hair type than what I have) or for my daughter to try, this way I am not getting samples that someone else may have requested but are told no. Does that make sense? I hate seeing people left out. I felt bad for people that asked Wei East for samples and were told no. I received a whole bunch (2 envelopes full) from them and if I hadn't already sent most of them off to my daughter. I would've gladly shared with those that were told no. I think they sent so many because I asked for samples to put in a care package for my daughter or to donate to a women's shelter. Wei East told me that they would send some fullsize products and samples directly to the shelter. I also told them that I would review any products that they sent me and post the review on their website as well as several others that I listed. I think getting a no has to do with possibly sending requests to companies that just plain run out of samples because they have been bombarded with requests lately. I've been told that by several companies lately. so maybe send another request in a couple months. That's what I plan to do with the companies that told me that they ran out of samples. I hope you have success with this company.

That makes perfect sense and thank you for replying ...you seem like such a great person.

Gloss just replied to my e-mail I sent them on August 6th.  They're sending me a deluxe sample of the High-Gloss Masque, and a few packets of the High-Gloss serum.

I just sent emails to Whish, Jouer, Eyeko London, and Beauty Addicts. Once I get replies, I'll post them here. All you ladies have been super helpful!

Edit: I seem to be on a sample "shopping-spree." (Don't judge me!!) So I also emailed Lulu Organics and Pixibeauty. Hopefully I get replies soon so I can post them here. In the meantime...I'm going to do more "shopping."

Eyeko gave me this response last week.

"HI Jenifer, Thank you very much for your interest in Eyeko! Unfortunately we are not able to provide with samples, but please have  a look on our website where you will find all information needed  before making a purchase. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with, Best wishes, Eyeko x"

I also emailed lulu organics last month, even though there's actually a section in their faq that says they don't do samples, and have yet to receive a reply.  And last I heard Whish had depleted their sample supply and were giving people 30% off codes.

Aww, too bad. I love their skinny liner, and was hoping that I would get the chance to try out the mascara before I buy it.

And, I did notice that Lulu says that in their FAQ, after I sent the request, opps!

Even if I don't get product from Whish, that 30% off code would be very welcome here! Thank you!

I got hand soap samples from Caldrea today.  I got No. 14 Basil Blue Sage, No. 20 Ralmarosa Wild Mint, No. 01 Lavender Pine, No. 17 Sea Salt Neroli, No. 19 Mandarin Vetiver, and No. 15 Ginger Pomelo.  They also included No. 07 Sweet Pea Stain Remover.  I am not thrilled about the Lavender Pine, since I specifically said in my e-mail that I had tried that scent and did not like it, but they're samples and they're free, so I'm not complaining.  I'm going to add the Lavender Pine to my Trade Thread.
