I'm:( looking for a new BB cream so I sent emails to Misshapen, SKIN79, BRTC store & the BB cream shop. I asked if they had any samples of BB creams that I could try out. Ill.post the replies I get.

Well, if she's less of a jerk than she was when I knew her, then good for her.....she ain't too bright, and I never cared for her (this IS based on knowing her IRL, NOT from TV)
I can totally understand that. Too bad she is that way because Steve was extremely nice when I met him. I would love to see pics of her before all the work was done on her.

Steve IS very nice; I know Josie from before she married him.

The Dean ads she did weren't terrible, I suppose. She didn't look overinflated, anyway. The picture on Shagtree hardly even resembles her.

I've been busy with school stuffs, but I have got quite a few things in the mail.

he stuff above I *just* got today. Malin + Goetz 0.04 fl oz x2 vitamin e face moisturizer, and x2grapefruit face cleanser. And from BeautyADDICTS a full size of their SHOWOFF mascara. I love asking for a sample and getting a full sized product.

he stuff above this I got between Fri & Sat. Caldrea- 6 different hand soaps, the Whish body butter, and shave gel, dermalogica  skin hydrating booster, daily microfoliant, & multivitamin powerfirm, and wei's white lotus moisture rich hydrating cream, golden root purifying mud mask, goji berry age defense serum, and the pomegranate buffing beads.

This stuff I went to L'Occitane since I printed up the coupon for the free shea butter hand cream ($10 value) and the poor girl that worked there was so bored, and just so happy to see another person she threw in a buncha samples : precious serum, creme radieuse hydration cream, a healthy packet of the lavender hand cream, and 2 packets of the verdon energy moisturizer for him (since I was there with my bf,) which was really nice of her.

Haven't really contacted any other companies since the start of school, I think the only other company that said they'd mail out stuff was Arcona. Oh and I also *just* got my Miss Jessie's in the mail, so right now I'm almost on product overload. Almost

I left a voicemail explaining why I'm calling and with my contact information. She called back asking for my address!

I was kind of ticked bc I contacted Orlane to ask about a sample of a very specific (and quite expensive) product I really want to try. The problem is I live NOWHERE near any of their retailers. The person who emailed me back said that they could only offer samples at their counters (they are sorry I don't live near one) and with online orders, but they are working on a sample kit for their website. I responded and told her I hoped they were planning to let people choose the samples, and that I wanted to try this specific product and was even willing to pay for a sample or travel size of the product. I am less interested in a "kit" than trying something I feel could work well for me. If a sample exists of the product I want to try (or if they could make one) would it really kill them to throw it in an envelope and send it to me? Full size retails for about $150 but can be had for less from some places. Won't be had at all by me, I guess.

Has anyone emailed any of the higher end cosmetic companies about product samples? I thought I would give it a try. I sent emails to Dior, Nars & Bare Escentuals . Ill post when I hear back from these companies. Ada cosmetics has no samples left. Sprout Skincare is sending me what was in the pop sugar box even though I told them that I received that and was asking about other stuff in their line. I sent an email to several companies that sell BB creams and I heard back from BRTCSTORE.com and they are sending me samples of different BB creams.

Companies that have many stores or have their lines sold at department stores, Ulta, or Sephora have responded to me saying that I should go to my closest retailer and try out the products there. But I've never written to the companies you listed, so you might have better luck!

NeoStrata sent me a nice pouch literally packed with samples, some were big deluxe sized ones.

I emailed me today and they asked me which products I was interested in.. i only listed 3 bc i didnt want to get greedy... but maybe i should have said more!

Tarte, June Jacobs, Wei East, La Mer & Beauty Addicts (gave me a discount code & offered a free makeup bag w/ purchase) said No. It seems like the bigger companies just tell me to go to sephora.

Jurlique, L'Occitane, Malin + Goetz, Jane Iredale & Ole Henricksen said yes.

Waiting on quite a few to get back to me, if they ever do!

L'Occitane told me yes but I still haven't gotten anything from them, and that was a few weeks ago.

^^I'm having the same problem with companies saying their shipping samples out and it's been awhile now and I haven't received them yet.

I would follow up with them. A couple of the places that I contacted couldn't track the original packages so sent another batch. The original ones haven't turned up, so you may have a mail gremlin like I did.
