Yesterday was my 26th birthday, and the mail was appropriate! I received a LARGE box from Original Sprout, and they were super generous! I got shampoo/conditioner in huge foils, a deluxe sized Detangling spray, and some hair and body oil. I tried them all yesterday and my hair was soft, shiny, and frizz-free, all day, while raining in Florida, so it REALLY stood up to extreme humidity, Original Sprout has a new lifer! I also got two Tone Bodywash foils, I received 3 skincare foils from Babor, Crabtree & Evelyn really hooked it up with tons of handcreams, body lotions, and a perfume sample! I also got a nice sample pack from Kjaer Weis that included a foundation sample, bronzer, and eye shadow. Woot!

This, minus all he stuff I've already tried, is from March. I haven't ordered anything in a while, but maybe later :)

How did you contact Fekkai? I couldn't get ahold of them.

I most definitely won't make it rain, I have 6 full baggies of separated samples and I don't want to unseperate them! I have them all in order packaged so I can get what I need. :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

What did you write in your email?

Oscar Blandi told me that they never send things out. Weird.

Here's what I've gotten so far (the stuff from earlier in the year):

Jane Iredale (3 samples of foundations)

Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps (details I posted earlier, so far best haul)

Mrs. Meyer's (many little soaps)

Caldrea (many little soaps and a lotion)

Burberry Brit Rhythm (not worth it, a "tattoo" that doesn't even have a scent)

Ren (7 creams or cleansers)

Lady Gaga (2 perfume testers)

Archipelago (candles and 3 lotions)

Loreal

Juara (3 lotions)

John Frieda (2 Frizz Ease serums)

skyn iceland (2 creams)

Studio Gear (a terrible mascara and a nice face primer)

Dessert Essence (3 foils)

Erbaviva asked me what i would like and I listed a very broad category and got a terse response that they don't have samples of anything in that category. Shame. Was wanting to try them.

Can anyone that has successfully gotten a lot of products let me know what you ask? I'm not quite sure how to ask for the items

Well, I'll post my "general template". Of course, I customize it based on what I would like and which company I'm asking. I also add details about any allergies or issues I have or stuff.

Hello (If there is a name listed, use it. if not, don't)! -or- Good (morning, afternoon, evening), sir/madam,

My name is ----.  I've heard so many good things about your products, but I like to try before I buy. This is because I have spent so much money on products that did no live up to their descriptions and I'm just tired of spending money on things I use once and never again. I was wondering if you had any samples you could send me in the mail. I understand if this is not possible, however, if it is, I will provide my shipping info in this email.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you again,

"Shipping info"

This usually works for me. If I get no response, I usually resend in a month or so.

What I find to be the best way to organize is to keep a small legal notepad (the yellow ruled kind) with columns for company name, when I sent a request, what the response was, and if I ever got it and what I got. Keeps me from doing awkward repeat sends.

Hi!

Some of the packets are really blurred. Would you mind listing what's in the photo?
