I emailed clinique.

By the way Paul & Joe beauty as well as Napoleon cosmetics said yes, they are both Makeup companies. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I'm still struggling to find good perfume companies! :[
Tell me what clinique said when you get a reply also Napolean sends cute mini lip glosses and lipsticks. They were quite generous!

 
I emailed Malin and Gotez, they said no.

The person who I talked to was Katie and she was pretty rude about it too. She said it was a family owned company and asked "why can't you just go to a retailer also its not our job to send samples to people." She also said "If you want samples of products go ask some other company because we don't send samples to anyone." I was a bit shocked at how rude she was. Let me just tell you I'm never using their products again...

 
Put in a complaint. Im getting samples from them.

Put out exactly what she said, and then write the time and date (or around the time and date) you spoke to her, or she responded to you. 

This is bad marketing. I'll make sure when I get my samples to write that others had bad customer service in my blog.

I just hope the same person doesn't get the complaint, wonder what she'll say to me. Maybe I should try tomarrow to get a different customer representative. But again I was really shocked on how they replied never had a company talk to me like this.

I don't take crap like this from companies. I'm a makeup artist, I deal with companies all the time. Sure it's a family business, it's a family business that SHE it RUINING by not being polite and treating you like some freeloader. if you can't sample the products when you have no places in your area, then how does she expect you to buy from the company? And now everyone on this thread can see it. She's hurting the business.

They told me no too and told me to go to a retailer nearby. If that was possible - I wouldn't be writing them. But I have to agree - although I liked some of their products - I won't be buying anything from them - especially after reading this.

The thing is I have tried their hair care and really liked them so I wanted to try some other products.

 
Sucks to be them. Eventually I plan to create a beauty line, and I know the most money will be in customer service for this exact reason. That's the reason Lush is doing so well- there are a ton of all natural companies that give to charity- but Lush has excellent customer service and people working there. So even if their products aren't that special, they do the job and they create a brand for themselves.

 
Wow, I just looked at my Email and I have Katie Gillespie as my person sending samples to me! Is that the same girl who was rude to you? Do you still have the emails?
Wait a min it is Gillespie! I was accidently looking at the Becca email, why would she be so different to other people! I wonder how they decide who gets what. Do you think maybe she runs the whole customer service?

Maybe! Maybe because you spoke to them after I spoke to them there was a bunch of people asking for samples and she got annoyed. I have no idea
 Yeah I guess it's understandable but she could have been nicer in saying they can't send out samples to everyone instead of putting a bad image to their brand. Oh well I wonder what her reply will be to my complaint?
