I love experimenting with hair color. I dye my hair every season change. I ask my family and they say stay blonde, but everyone in my family is blonde and they think if you are anything but blonde you are not pretty....so they're opinions don't count. My fiancee is afraid to say anything because he thinks its a trick question so I really have no help!

I am thinking of going dark all over again or going dark on top and a really dark, rich, vibrant red underneath. Right now my hair is blonde on top and dark brown underneath. Which looks best on me from the pictures posted? Thanks so much!!

light and dark? oh no! I prefer it dark because it stays shinier and healthier looking and makes my eyes look nicer...yet it is hard to keep up with since my roots come in a dark blonde after 3 weeks. Its hard staying dark too since I am partial to being blonde, and the dark color starts to feel drab after a while. I cant win.

I think you look better with lighter hair. Love #2!

Why not dye the under layers of your hair dark - and the top layers blond?

thanks guys! I am still afraid to go dark since the upkeep for my roots are a pain!

I like the second pic the best, too. Honestly I think your complexion is too pale to be as dark as the last pic, washes you out. How about something like Gisele Bündchen and Jennifer Aniston? I think that would look great on you.

I wanted to go blonde again but with the winter coming i like dark, I use loreal excell 10 ins shade 4 chocolate brown, that would look nice on you.

It really is chocolatey. in the light it has that hint of red.

I like blonde myself but i find it makes people look the same, im very pale and i love dark hair it makes your features stand out.

Another blonde worry is the dryness and brittleness of the hair esp in the winter.

Hope this helps

The last pic is the win

I'm actually loving #3. Your cut and color are fabulous! Not too dark not too light.

AHH! Oh man! I wasn't expecting so many different answers. I think I will wait it out before I do anything and regret it. I change my mind too much!

If your unsure, why dont you keep it similer to what you have, you said it was light ontop n dark underneath why dont you..

Keep dark underneath but try a new shade, maybe a tint in that, a reddy chocolate and ontop maybe some slices thru the blonde of the same color you go for underneath, or even streaks.

I went for a straight drastic change, I was all over bleach blonde, and i went for the darkest brown. it was quite a shock. at least if you change it abit its not so hard to remove

Hey you seem to have'nt tried red yet so maybe this question is premature......

however from what you have shown i like the lighter ones more

Yea, I went red. Like a dark auburn and I loved it! However, it faded within weeks so the upkeep would not be worth it.
I am now thinking of letting the dark underneath fade out for the winter and going really light blonde for the spring OR trying out a color corrector for the dark underneath and letting it go for the winter.

I think what I like best on you are cooler tones, so either a cool brown or an icier blonde. I think it flatters your skin more than the warmer, more reddish tones do! (ie: 2nd pic and last pic)

I hate when someone thinks that beautiful is only one certain way, for example blonde, that's f*ing pathetic, I'm sorry.
