I have been using WEN cleansing conditioner and I really like it. You don't have to use it every time you shampoo to keep the results. I have very HARD water here and my hair was so dry- it looks and feels so much  better now. You must be sure you rinse well, or it may make your hair look too oily. It is worth it, and it lasts me awhile. I have no plans of going back to regular shampoo. I have thick, slightly wavy hair. Be sure and order from EBAY or someplace else  so you won't get the ongoing shipments.

I heard that you'll get the same results using Suave or VO5 conditioners - as long as there are no silicones.

And for a fraction of the cost.

I must admit that I like WEN.  I do use a suped-up condition with chamomile/mint and wild cherry bark added along with some aloe gel but I will use Wen once a week.  I wanna make it last.

I use it a couple of times a week and it has transformed my hair.  Still need to mix it up and use other products for my scalp.  However my hair stylist said my hair looks fantastic!  (and she didn't say that AFTER she cut it lol)

I've been a Wen girl for 3 1/2 years, and I'll never use anything else!!  It's amazing!!

According to the WEN official website, WEN is (quote unquote):

"WEN® Cleansing Conditioner is a revolutionary new concept in hair care. A 5-in-1 formula, this one product takes the place of your shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler and leave-in conditioner. It cleanses hair thoroughly but without lathering and all the harsh ingredients that may be found in ordinary shampoos—it is designed so it won't strip your hair and scalp of their natural oils. Your hair is left with sheen, moisture, manageability and better color retention."

It is a designer product in the conditioning and styling category, created by Chaz Dean that is supposed to be incredibly powerful in cleansing hair and repairing it. However, it does come with the designer price.

Hmmm... I dunno if I would like it. I seem to have really good results with Fructis Sleek and Shine, shampoo, conditioner and smoothing cream! People ask how I get results like I do with the amount of damage I have and that's basically all I do other than I have been using some heat protectant and actually Neutorgena Anti-residue shampoo every other wash to make sure I get all the product out of my hair.

I get really good results with this and for the condition my hair is in right now its incredibly soft and shiny!

After I shampoo, I NEED conditioner. I would not be able to run my fingers thru my hair and my hair feels like it shrank and doesn't fit on my head.  If I forgot, I'd jump back into the shower and apply.

Since I've been using Wen, I need only 1 product.  I have tried making a dupe but I've come close but not exact.  I'm using Wen as a benchmark on what I'd like. It is expensive but it makes my hair feel like it hasn't felt in a long time.  I put my hair thru a lot of abuse and you really can't tell.

I change my shampoo at least ever 3 or 4 weeks, from Head & Shoulders, Organics, Garnier.... My shower is all full of different shampoos, and I stopped using conditioner, I don't know why though. I was reading about the Wen shampoo & it sounds interesting.

It's $30.00 for 4 products?? I need something that will make my hair a bit more healthy. :/

WEN is expensive for what it is: there is no miracle ingredient, it's what you eliminate from your haircare that makes the difference. Try sulphate and silicone free - basically what the WEN system is - many girls get results from the first week, those who 'fail' generally still have silicones is their hair. There are long lists of drugstore conditioners that can be used to cleanse hair on many long hair and curly hair forums. As Dragonfly says Suave and V05 are common in the US; Garnier Fructis Repair & Shine conditioner (Triple Nutrition in the US) is often used as a leave-in but some girls with damaged hair like it as a cleanser too - instead of silicones which coat your hair with a faux 'healthy' shine it is rich in plant oils which rehydrate and protect the hair.

I don't think I have even heard of this product before. I think its a neat concept and worth trying. I may see if I can find it here but still if its expensive then I can't really justify it over what I am already using. The few products I use seem to last me a long time (months really in some cases a year like waxes or pastes, hair gel/spray/straightener etc etc etc), so its hard to justify spending that much on one product.

WEN is a good product but it's so overpriced. Especially if you're like me, someone who washes daily and has a ton of hair, you'll end up going through it so fast. I also didn't think I would be able to just use one product for cleansing AND conditioning, but it actually does the job well. If it wasn't so expensive I would consider using it all the time, but I'm pretty cheap when it comes to hair products. I go through shampoo and conditioner so fast, the max I'm willing to spend is about $6 per bottle.
