I picked up UD Vice 3 & UD Frontal Lipstick Stash.

I used $50 in Reward Points that I saved up from Ulta.

I cashed in my Pinecone Research reward points for $51 cash in my Paypal.

So my two new Urban Decay items cost me $2.41 out of pocket and it was 3x points, I activated. (149 new points)

I ended up buying the $20 Cargo palette. I couldn't pass it up. They are (imo) a seriously underrated brand, and I wanted last year's palette so bad, but missed it. Not this time! :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yes it was!  So glad that I waited to order! I got UD Vice 3, beauty break, 2 rimmel lipsticks, 1 essence lipstick for $60!  I had $12 in points and used a $3.50 off coupon.   I was sad as I was trying to get the big bag of samples (where you have to spend $125) but could not get it to work with the ebates app (ordered on my phone as we cannot use work computers for personal use).  I saved money so I am not too sad!

Plus with 3x points I got 231 points which is $6!  Woo hoo!

Email... but mine ended up in junk mail when they emailed it to me... I almost deleted it. Make sure to check spam!

I'm really upset with Ulta. I placed an order during 2x points and got the $125 beauty bag as well as the lip beauty break. My tracking number showed that the package was undeliverable, so I went to the post office this morning to ask about it. They told me that they couldn't read the street number on the label, and it had already been sent back to Ulta. I then called Ulta's customer service, and the lady I talked to told me that packages that get sent back are automatically processed for return, and there was nothing she could do about the GWPs that I missed out on. She just said that she was very sorry, and didn't offer me anything for my trouble.

The same thing happened to me several months ago. I had like 4 gwps coming on a $40 order, I was so excited to get that order. I still get mad thinking about it, and it's made me wary of ordering from Ulta.

 
Ulta has always transferred my packages from UPS to USPS to be delivered, and USPS never delivers them. The first time they would have sent it back if I hadn't gotten a "your package has been delivered" notice from UPS and thrown a gargantuan fit. The second time I got a notice in my mailbox that the package could be picked up at the local post office, even though it would have easily fit into one of our (always available) package boxes. I only had three days from the date of the notice to pick it up, or it would be returned. Neither box contained any hazmat or anything that could warrant special handling.

I am EXTREMELY wary of Ulta's shipping practices and would definitely recommend not shopping with them online, if possible.

Yeah, I probably won't order from Ulta as much anymore. It's too bad because this order would have made me $15 from hitting platinum.

I'm sorry that happened to you. =[ I was really excited to get my order, too, so that made it extra disappointing.

Yeah, my package was transferred from UPS to USPS, and then USPS said they couldn't deliver it. I got the undeliverable status on my tracking number, went to talk to USPS the next day, and they had already returned it by then. If only they had held it for a few days, I would have been able to pick it up. I won't be shopping with them online much anymore.

Yeah, I probably didn't make a big enough deal out of it for them to bother offering me anything. I'm not really good at complaining and asserting my point on the phone. =[

 
I have had pretty good luck shopping online. I like to order online because there are more GWP than in the store. I also like the free samples. Once they forgot my free samples and when I called them they sent me one. I also did a big order with the 125.00 GWP and the lip beauty break. They divided it into 2 orders. I think it shipped from 2 different places. I got them the same day one from USPS and one from UPS. UPS delivered it because they were delivering something else to me that day. I wound up with 2 free sample packs. I haven't called them,but I was a little disappointed in my 125 GWP. They substituted some of the samples from what was listed on the website and I only got 21 instead of 22 samples. One of the things I didn't get was the Urban Decay lipstick instead I got an Urban Decay prep spray.

 
Ok, I'm confused about Ulta's rewards points policies. So today I got an email that I had 300 bonus points with a $90 purchase. Cool. Plus it's my birthday month so I get 2x points on any purchase. Cool. I have over 2000 points saved up (no judgement please) so I was going to use points for $125 off this purchase as a pre-birthday present to myself. However, when I entered the points in as the "payment" option, the points I was going to earn went from 500ish to 15ish. So I'm guessing that I can't earn points for purchases made with points? And I can't earn bonus points for purchases made with points either? Frowny face.

 
I think you can't earn points on things you buy with points. Because points are only based on actual dollars spent.
