Mine updated this morning to: "the postal service was electronically notified by the shipper on April 24, 2013 to expect your package for mailing" /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> All day Monday and Tuesday I had nothing on the endicia site. Atleast there was some progress. I'll probably get mine on Sat if you guys are getting Friday delivery.  Last month I never got a date and the tracking info was wacky (it told me it left Irvine one day, then the next day it changed to it hadn't left Irvine, then the next day it was in some random place like Utah,  then it just didn't update after that for like two days then it just showed up).

I sent an email this morning to notify them of my Birthday (because I had not told them before) and THEN I got tracking for the Birthday box so I would assume yes /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Hello everyone! Marci, here. Just a few updates this month...

We're so excited to almost finish our shipping for April Starbox! Sorry it seems a bit late.. these weird 5 week months make it so that we ship the second to last week of the month, but we did start shipping the 18th which is almost halfway through. You should be receiving this awesome box ASAP!

NOTE: IF you have not received a tracking notification from us by the end of this week, this means you are NOT set up to receive our emails and they are possibly hitting your spam. PLEASE check your spam, whitelist our email address and start tracking! If you don't see an email at all, CALL US. We will make sure you get your tracking email each month!

You all know I started making "Why, Marci" videos to help you learn other ways of using the Starbox items.... as much as I don't think I am a good video person, I still make sure I do these as quick as possible. ;-) Unfortunately, as the owner of Starlooks, it's a little difficult to find time to record videos throughout my busy schedule, and a LOT of really exciting things are happening to us this year that I am having to work on.... BUT- the March video is coming soon, just in the process of editing... stay in touch. I promise I'll try to be earlier from now on an post sometime in the 2 weeks after that box ships.

I am still listening to your suggestions of what you would like to come out in future boxes, so keep them coming! Let us know what you want or need!

Lastly, in two months (June), Starlooks Starbox is having it's 1 year anniversary. I will be announcing some ways you can celebrate with us!

Have been reading this thread for a while now & I finally decided to sign up for next month 

 All of the past Starlooks boxes look EXCELLENT. Plus, all you ladies seem to love it & Marci seems super professional. Great products + great customer service=a win in my book. 

Can't wait to see what you all get in your April boxes! I'm very patiently awaiting the May one haha.

I'm waiting for the April spoilers too.... depending on the April spoilers it'd help me decide whether to sign up for the May box....

I have ipsy and LOVE them...  although now that I think about it, i actually don't use the stuff i get 'often' but somehow ipsy's whole packaging makes me happy each month....   i don't really take into account whether or not i'd use up or frequently, but more that they give me a variety of things i'd want to try and things that i'd want to use when i'm on vacation....

I have been looking at the previous Starlook starbox and i'm hesistant...not sure if i'd get excited opening the box or really use the products....b/c i pretty much buy makeup products like every week from sephora to drugstores....

Anyways, May and June will be my beauty no buy month so figure if i sign up for Starbox in April it'd make my May and June beauty no buy that much easier to bear....

I am so on-the-fence about this sub. Compared to the other subscription beauty boxes, you get great makeup products, but it's really hard for me not to associate this brand with a Mary Kay, Avon, or those makeup subscription services you could sign up for in Seventeen Magazine in the 90s. I don't mean this in an insulting way. It's probably just because it doesn't deal with recognizable makeup brands. I've been looking at the past months on the website, and the makeup looks nice. I guess I have until April 31st to make up my mind for the May box.

Thank you for this comment Black Magic! I love that username BTW. I HAD to respond to this comment, however.

I appreciate you voicing your association with Mary Kay, Avon etc, but I must comment on our quality so that this is put to the test.

We know the formulators of the products from these brands, and where their labs are. I researched this years ago when I was searching for our perfect chemist. We of course chose different formulators- We chose the same labs in the US in Canada that ALSO make the following brands:

MAC, Bobby Brown, Smashbox, Sephora Brand, Benefit, Dior, Estee' Lauder, and many more. Our labs in no way correlate with the Mary Kay and Avon labs who source their makeup from many different locations.

Personally, I love Mary Kay's skincare line, and a few of Avon's color cosmetic products, but this isn't the point. I love may items from ALL brands, and I hope you all try all brands too! Every brand has something amazing!!

But when comparing Starlooks to other brands, we are tried and true- compared to PRO products from high end brands in department stores because of our ingredients and lush formulations.

We promise.

AND I KNOW... it is shocking how affordable the Starbox is for PRO products like these. ;-) But we insist on keeping it this way for you!

Thank you so much for your response, Marci! I've heard great things about Starlooks products (a lot of associations with the high end brands you mentioned). I'm sure I'll get over my weird reservations once I actually try the products (I've only been watching and admiring so far). For $15, I don't have much to lose. I had 7 (yikes, I think I have a problem) beauty box subscriptions this month, and I certainly don't mind adding another quality one. 

Thanks for bringing up the information about the formulation and manufacturing of the line. There are a lot of companies that use manufacturers in China, so it's great to hear that Starlooks is manufactured in the US with quality ingredients. 

I'll definitely try to sign up in time for the May box, and I can't wait to see what everyone got in April's box!

Obviously, Starlooks is going to tell you that their products are quality, (it's their "job" you know) but I have to COMPLETELY agree.

I have a big range of brands but I would put my Starlooks products in with my MAC, my Lorac and my Bobbie Brown. You know, the brands you pay a lot for because you know they do what you want them to?!

With Starbox, I always get a full look and there is always something new for me to try. I've been a member since June and out of all the months, I wasn't in love with last months box at first. We got a matte navy shadow that I just wasn't feeling at first. Then I decided to apply it as an eyeliner and I'm obsessed. I work in a cosmetic retail store and I've bent the rules a few times to tell people where I REALLY get these products.

I'd have to say give them a try at least for one month because the quality of their makeup speaks for itself.

I agree with the others on the issue of the quality of Starlooks products.  I was surprised by the comparisons you made but then again I do not really have them as a reference point since I did not use any of those services in the 90s. I do understand how those things go though. Once we make an association it can be hard to break it, I have to get over my own weird little biases relatively often as well.  In any case, I hope you enjoy Starlooks, I know I do. Like others have said, their items are used regularly in my collection. This is in contrast to my Ipsy subscription, where I give their items a try but do not love them enough to keep on using them.  I really view Starlooks as quite unique, and I tend not to compare them to other brands.  They bring a lot to the table that I would not have appreciated had I not experienced them personally.  To know them has been to love them (for me, anyways).
