Someone please help. Dying question

Can someone help me here. My mum bought me some very expensive clip in extensions from out of town so I can not return them. They are amazing human hair double wefted the best I've had an I've spent loads on them trying to find good ones. Anyway they are one shade too light for me. Now my hairdresser won't lift my hair but I do like my own dyed Color. Is it possible to dye these clip ins with the dye I use? I use loreal excell 10. And I leave it on for 5 mins to get my Color. Will it be safe if I do the extensions in this dye?

If it's human hair i would assume they would react like human hair, but i can't be sure.

Yes you can definately dye extensions if they're human hair. It might be safer to try first just a small section of the hair. You would want to use a dye brush and place it on foil. But it might take the dye a little different than your hair because all hair is different. So definately test a piece first because it might grasp the dye more than your hair and then you'll end up with hair too dark. Good Luck!!
