I think his hair is gorgeous. My boyfriend has longer hair, but his is a dark chestnut brown and really curly. I love it. If your fiance cuts his, I think he should go to shoulder length, and not much shorter. It would still be "long" for a guy, but it would look a bit neater

Edit-- Blahh, I didn't see that you'd already cut it for him, LOL. What you did sounds good, though!

 
Seems like he takes care of them, so why should he cut it? I don't think he will even look any better...

I personally love guys with longer hair, especially when it's bushy, dark and curly.
