I've had a short-inverted bob before. Actually when my husband and I first met. I've let my hair grow for the past 5 yrs. Thinking I've missed the long hair and options that come with it. But it ends up in a pony tail 95% of the time, simply because I'm always home. He came across some old pictures yesterday and said he missed it. I started to think I did to. My problem isn't that I'm scared to cut my hair. I know it will grow back. But I wonder if it's the right choice. I remember not being able to wear hats during the summer b/c my hair was short, and not being able to put it in a pony tail to keep it up. Then I have long hair and don't do anything but brush and straighten if I go somewhere and if I stay home it's in a pony tail. Am I doing the right thing cutting. I can't weight my own options? Help please.

Lol you know I always let my hair grow for years then chop it off and regret it.  I've done this numerous times and I finally just decided to let it grow and leave it long since I always end up missing it after a couple months.  When my hair is long  I hardly ever do anything to it and yes I do put it up a lot of the time but it's nice to have the option to do anything with it

My hair is past my shoulders right now, however it was much much longer in previous years.

My fiance wants me to cut my hair short as well but I haven't had the courage to do it yet as I have never had short hair before. The shortest cut I have had is shoulder length, although after our baby is born I want to do something radical with my hair. New cut, colour everything. Just haven't decided on what yet. My fiance wants it short and red.

Hair will always grow back, so if you feel like you want to do it again, and you liked it last time then go ahead and cut it, you can do it in stages and go a bit at a time if all at once scares you too much.

If you do cut it, we would love to see some pics!!

I thought I wanted short hair too. Once I chopped it off, I regretted it. Thankfully it grew back really fast and there is no way I'd ever chop it off again. Don't do it! Make an effort to curl it, straighten it etc. every now and then (even when you are not going anywhere) and you will love your hair long!
