Yep, that's the store I go to.  When do you normally go?  It is usually the cashier people acting like they've hardly seen the Rouge cards, but I haven't been having such a hard time getting help or samples when I casually mention I'm a rouge.  Like they'll ask me questions as if I'm a makeup newbie, or if I'm a BI/etc yet.

Are you going to the Glendale store this Sunday for the Rouge event?
Usually early in the day, around noon. They don't given me a hard time if I ask for sample, but at the same time, it's not like they fall over themselves trying to help either. And I think only once has a cashier said something during checkout. Even when they read out my ridiculous point balance, they don't seem too surprised, so I always assumed there were just a lot of high rollers at the store, haha.

Nope, not going to the event. It's too early for me and I prefer to shop online anyway.

I've been waffling on if I'll really go or not.  It is early, and now I just found out I have a late night event with friends Saturday.  But I have to be in that area for lunch at noon Sunday, so I might as well just go, lol.

I'm sure there are, a lot of high rollers, but I haven't seen another Rouge card at checkout (doesn't mean much really), and I haven't heard anybody talking about being Rouge etc.  Maybe they just shop a lot online?  I normally do most of my shopping online, but when I go to the store it is usually between noon and 5pm on the weekends.

The last one wasn't great and 9am is early...I don't really want any of the samples, but I'm sure I go. I didn't invite anyone this time, last time was embarrassing. The friend I invited had to meet me super early, I hyped up the event and it was blah. I paid for her eyeliner because I felt so bad.

It irritates me that the Rouge events have been on Sunday mornings. I get that it is probably their least busy time, but I guess they don't want regular church goers to attend?

Ah well, don't need the samples and wasn't planning to buy anyway.

I think it tends to be the time on the weekend that most malls/Sephora stores aren't open yet but isn't way too early. Most malls open at 10 am on Saturday, so if they wanted two exclusive shopping hours, it would have to start at 8 am. I imagine they aren't willing to close the whole store during regular hours for other patrons, so it make it an exclusive experience, it has to be early.

I didn't get a chance to go for the last one. Do they usually run out of the sample bags pretty early? I'd like to get there more in the middle of the event than the beginning, but I also don't want to miss out.

I won't show up because the last one I went to was awful.

I will purchase some items on line - that will cement my standing as a VIP rouge for next year :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

The one I went to in mid-town manhattan the last time had plenty of gift bags, no food left, but plenty of bottled water. I showed up about 10 min. before the thing was suppose to end.

Aren't most malls open later on Sunday? They probably do it on Sundays because it gives more time to easily hold private events etc before the mall opens.  If they did it on Saturdays or weekdays it'd be even earlier, and even less people would show up.  That's my guess anyways.

I'm headed out to the event shortly...as soon as my Husband is ready (He is currently stomping around wondering why I am making him go and sit outside the store)...I just have one or two things to get and a sample bag...most of the things I really want are not in store yet and we are going to brunch afterwards. Hope it's a good event and sample bag... :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I phoned yesterday to have them put a 2 bags aside for myself and a friend.  We are going to go tomorrow instead of today.

Normally, they're open until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Excited to hear how it is!! I'm sitting this one out. Zero money right now! Have fun to everyone going :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'm so excited - this is my first event - EVER!  My friend, who isn't a BI even, is meeting me at 8am PT and we will be ready, in line (if there is a line) by 8:45!!  I tend to have fun regardless of how lame, annoying etc any event may be, and I love Sephora, so however it turns out I'm sure I'll have a great time!!  I didn't even sleep last night hahaha!!  I just hope they don't mind that my friend is bringing her 8 year old daughter.  I look forward to feedback here later today!  Have a great day everyone, I'll post later about our experience!

Just got back from the VIB-R event, and it was pretty good.

My store is on the small side, so I wasn't expecting a whole lot. They had coffee and fruit and muffins/donuts for everyone, and were very generous with samples. I asked for a sample of one of the GlamGlow masks and she gave me 3 little sample containers, plus a few of the eye masks!

The sample bag I got was decent. I think they gave it to everyone who made a purchase, because the girl in front of me purchased a Nails Inc. polish for $8 and also got the sample bag and VIB-R tote.

I saw two brand reps, one from YSL and one from Laura Mercier. The YSL rep had all these cute little goody bags that she made, and it contained 3 sample cards. The Laura Mercier rep gave out a primer and a highlighting powder.

Overall it was a pleasant experience! I almost always shop online, but this was actually very enjoyable. Plus, samples!!

What's the difference between ROUGEFRESH and VIBFresh?

I am rouge but used the VIBfresh code instead (I didn't realize there was a Rouge Fresh code).

Is it worth calling CS about? Or is it the same contents?

You get the Rose tint with the Rouge code, but not with the VIB code.
