For such a high ticket item, I wonder if they put insurance on it- making it take longer to ship out.  Things get lost in the mail so often- if I ran a company I feel like I would put insurance on larger ticket items.. but who knows.  I know Sephora's a multi million dollar company and they're not gonna be incredibly hurt on $600, but still!

Yeah true. I don't mind if it takes longer to ship, just wanna make sure I do get it! Lol but it does make me feel better to hear that other orders haven't shipped, I guess the more popular items are slower to ship.

I got two of my orders in today and I'm having scent overload. I got both Hello Kitty rollerballs, the atellier duo, the tokyo milk rolleball trio, and then most of my samples were perfume vials and my two blitz bags each had a vial. I'm driving my husband insane, SMELL ME!!!

Ooh that's good to hear! I have the Vanille Insensee and I really like it, and I'm not even usually a fan of vanilla. I do love citrus though so I'm sure I'll love the Orange Sanguine! The L'Artisan La Chasse Aux Papillons is amazing, it really just reminds me of the jasmine plant outside my door, but slightly more subdued yet complex as well. It's really hard to describe lol!

My order: I've been wanting the brush set since I first seen it.  Was in the Sephora store today and they were so pretty.  I really wanted to get the Glo Teeth Whitening Kit but resisted the urge.  I think I will just ask for it for Christmas instead.

Ohhhh those brushes are pretty! How is the quality?

NOT so happy with sephora right now.. i bought the tarte lipsurgence set yesterday at the store, but only actually looked at them this afternoon...to see this:



I sent them a message right away... but they said they couldn't do anything from their end. i can return/exchange it at the store (i bought it at a free-standing sephora, btw). i told them i don't know when i can go back to the store, and certainly not within the 20% promo duration.. they said to call my store, and see if they can make an exception... sigh.. i'm not very happy with this 'resolution'.. they already inconvenienced me, and they're gonna inconvenience me more.. and in their responses, it doesn't seem like they're trying to be very helpful/lessen the impact on my part. i guess i can order it online too, and just return this one when i can. but that's involving me shelling out more money..

Has anyone tried the gel effect polish? i love it,  i have the other 2 so i had to get all of them with the discount.

and managed to get the hourglass palette. I wasnt planning on buying nars lip pencils but ive heard great things about the matte pencils and love the bag. i have a lipstick problem. #dontjudgeme haha

Aw, so sorry about your LipSurgence set and about how unhelpful the customer service was. It's weird, but it's almost like the stores and the site are competing with one another. Maybe you could order it again online, and then return the damaged one in the mail. Still involves you shelling out more money, but it's probably easier to get to the post office/flag down your postal delivery person than it is to get up the energy to go to a store.

thanks..they specifically told me too that they can't process returns bought from the store.. sigh..

Oh I didn't know they had a shadow pencil set! Only ever seen the eyeliner ones. What colors did it come with?

Yeah, it was called the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil Stash and it came with Delinquent, Clash, Rehab, Juju, and Sin. It was one of the first purchases that set me down the slippery slope of UD lol.

Oh! I got that set 2 years ago and I loved it. I gave the teal and purple ones away and kept the others. Juju was the absolute best thing ever made for eyes! I was devastated when I couldn't buy another because it was exclusive to the set. Since then I have repurchased Sin and also the color Lit. I would love a new set.

oh no, I didn't know Juju was exclusive to the set! I did the opposite as you lol, I kept the purple and teal and gave the nudes to my mum. She loves them, she's been asking me where she can get more.

Not sure what kind of email account you have, but have you tried looking in your email's "trash" or "deleted" file? Even when I accidentally delete emails, they're still sitting in the trash folder for awhile. I actually have to go to my trash file and delete it AGAIN for it to be truly gone, and I have gmail. Hopefully it's still there!

Soooo... I had to go to LA today for a test for a job (fingers crossed) and while I was in the big, bad city I dropped by a Sephora. I literally ran in, grabbed the Laura Mercier palette and got out. It was SO crowded and the freeway was packed, I wanted to get that and go home LOL. And now, I'm done. No more Sephora for me right now!

Ooh, there's a stila points perk coming! I don't know what's in it other than "all full-sized," so I just hope it's something that does *not* involve lip glazes or mascara. They usually have a code for a freebie that contains those.
