Nice. I love living in Oregon. Are the eyeshadows loose or pressed? (Sorry for the OT)
Loose. I'm going to try the liquid primer I just got in my stila foil eyeshadow set once I get my GCC order. I have the This Isn't a Democracy set coming! Clementine Will Remember seems like it will be a great festive shade for the winter, especially if I use it as a liner. I'm on the hunt for a good liquid primer to turn powders into liner. I used to use Paula Dorf's Transformer, but it's apparently no longer made, and I just haven't been able to find anything that works like that stuff did. Oh! I'm home now, so I can post that email I mentioned somewhere earlier! From stila in reference to the liquid primer in the metallic shadow set:
Quote: Thank you for contacting stila cosmetics customer care. At this time, we are not selling individual bottles of this primer, but it will be part of our collection in our Spring collection for 2014. The Stay All Day Liquid Eye Primer which is included with the Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow, is filled with 0.06 fluid ounces, or more as stated on the packaging and has been confirmed by our quality assurance department. The bottle for the primer does appear halfway filled, as this is required for the packaging for this specific product, but will always contain the amount stated on the labeling.
We suggest to our customers to use less than one drop of the primer per application when using the Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow, as the eye shadow is made to be used with the primer. The use of too much of the primer may not allow the eye shadow to set and dry correctly once applied.
We hope this new information is helpful and that you have a wonderful day filled with lots of smiles and blushes!
It seems like if they're going to be selling individual bottles in the spring collection, this can probably be used for other powder shadows. I'll be very sparing with my testing, though, because the bottle is *tiny*!
