I'm sooo torn on what to buy! I have a ton of stuff on my wish list but I'm bargain hunter and even with the 20% some of the kits and things still aren't affordable. And of course like many of you, I have so much make up already! So far the only thing in my cart is Philosophy holiday items (sweets for the stocking and the gourmet popcorn topping shower gel set), Josie Mara lights & bights kit and a Buxum bronzer in Maldives. I would love the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Noir perfume but no way I'm paying $55 for it. Will stop by sephora again to test stuff out before I make my purchase.

got that palette at the store yesterday. SOOO GORGEOUS! kinda bad that i already have a full size laguna and orgasm/angelka duo, and an illuminator from the 'makeup your mind' set, but...it's still very pretty!!

So agree!  I have all three and personally use Naked 1 the most.  I have blonde hair, olive skin and blue eyes...so they all three match fine, but I find Naked 2 overkill.  That said, I like Naked 2's packaging better (metal versus velvet box)...

I just received the ALMOSTVIB kit a few days ago and it was in there.

I was at a SiJCP today and picked up the SiJCP Favorites Eyeliner kit as a Christmas present and didn't get my 20% VIB discount because of course I always have to have problems with Sephora lol. I never got the physical mailer OR an email and since I hadn't originally planned on going to JCP today (passed by it on my way to the post office and randomly decided to go), so I didn't have the coupon saved on my phone either, and of course I just happened to be in a phone service dead zone and couldn't look it up. Murphy's law lol.

The girl who rang me up was super sweet and apologised that they didn't have any sort of physical coupon in store that she could use, but I could either call CS to have the discount recredited or go back with the set and coupon to get it done. Welllll I just called CS and apparently since it's a SiJCP, they can't do anything about it since they don't have access to the system. Gotta love Sephora and their dinosaur computer system that counts physical stores and SiJCPs as separate entities... I don't even know if I'm gonna bother to go back though, it's 30+ minutes away and I don't have any free time in the foreseeable future to chase the $5 discount (half of which would just end up going into my gas tank anyways lol).

Ugggh.. I was so torn whether or not I should buy that eyeliner kit! The Nars pencil looks nice and I have or at some point used or swapped the eyeliners in the Sephora kit. Its such a good deal! I have a love/hate relationship with SiJCPs.

Tarte Lip Surgence dries out my lips.  There is something about peppermint that my lips don't respond well to.  I actually thought I had traded all my lip surgence (I once got a set thinking I would like them, after using one I realized that as pretty as they are they were not for me).  It turns out I had an extra one hiding in my stash!

As sad as it seems, I am just gunna toss it and choose my purchases more carefully from now on.  
That's so sad! I'm sure you can trade some of it, like the liners and lipsurgence. I for one love the lipsurgence and they're easy to sanitize!
I agree about choosing purchases more carefully. I'm trying to do that since I don't use nearly as much as I buy! I did consider trading it, but the lip surgence has been swatched and I don't know how to sanitize.  I've used the UD liners too!  I did have a separate box of things to trade so I'll probably start putting together a trade a list.  I don't use 1/4 of what I buy it's so bad!  Going forward I will be dramatically slowing down with my purchases.

Re: Tarte Lip Surgence, that's a bummer the way you react to peppermint! I just recently tried it for the first time and it's one of my faves - I have a similar issue with lip scrubs though, so I can sympathize. Everyone always loves them, and then I try 'em out and get horrible dry patches on my lips right after.

Oh you know exactly how I feel!  Yes everyone LOVES Tarte lipsurgence.  I thought I would love it too but they just don't work for me.  It's crazy when I see people say things like, "They're so moisturizing" and I'm thinking, "What the heck?  They made my lips dry and flake!"  I see threads where people are raving about the Lip Surgence, I want to join the party but I just can't.  Too bad about the lip scrubs for you, shame you can't use them.

Btw, has anybody actually failed to see something in their Sephora box and then threw the box away? I mean, I didn't see my VIBRouge welcome kit in my order a few days ago (which only had a LM powder puff and a few 100pt perks and threw the box away. I only realized the kit is missing now (every other thing's there though). There's a thick piece of paper underneath that I didn't get out to check though, so I'm just not sure if I accidentally threw the kit away or Sephora just forgot to include the kit.

Maybe you are right about the lip surgence.  I suppose I could pull it back out and trade it.

And yes I have missed something in my box before.  It was under the second layer of thick paper.  I had got my goodies out of the box and put the box by the door to take out to the trash the next morning.  Only when I was going to bed hours later did I realize something was missing.  I got up and checked the box and sure enough it was under that second layer of paper.  Thank goodness I hadn't taken it out to the trash right away.  I can't remember what it was,but a small light item so the box didn't really feel any heavier than it should have.

That been said, when I became VIB Rouge the kit was not in my box.  I called Sephora who said they could not send me, "Another one" (even though it would have been the only one) and instructed me to go in store and get it :-/

When I first saw it posted in this thread I wanted it for myself, but Clinique's gel liner is my HG so I didn't get it. Then the other day my mum mentioned that the Le Metier eyeliner I'd given her was almost dry so I knew I had to drop by a SiJCP to try and find a kit for her to try out. I rarely go shopping in person these days, it's just so convenient to do everything online. The few times I do is when I go to the huge outlet mall an hour north of town. I've unearthed tons of old LE MAC lipsticks and such at the cosmetics outlet, and the NY&C there has ridiculous markdowns. Cardigans for $3-10, jeans/pants starting from $10!? Yes please.
