If they crease on temptalia then they might melt straight off my eyelids lol! I swear she gets 8491610 hours of super pigmented wear on shadows I can't even get to show up on me without a strong primer.

OMG this is how i feel about nail polish and lipstick on virtually everyone. It doesn't matter how much I prep the second i wash my hands/drink water it's all gone or smeared or chipped lmao

Lol I'm constantly asking my friends if my lipstick has smeared on my face/teeth (I feel weird when I have to pull out my mirror or phone to check). I get way better luck with nail polish, but I rarely wear it these days because I get so irrationally angry when I get a tiny chip on one finger - it bugs me so much that I have to take all the polish off immediately. I can't even bring myself to just fill it in when I get home smh.

Haha, totally true!  I'm pretty sure my oily eyelids repel or dissolve eye makeup.  I gave up on finding a liner that won't end up underneath my eyes somehow (you can forget the waterlines!), and I love lipstick but I will destroy that in 5 minutes without trying.

The only polish that consistently works for me is gel, and even still I have to try to make it a point to use gloves doing dishes or cleaning of any sort.  Gel polish literally wears like iron, though, provided it's been properly applied.

I meant to start a topic a while back about faces that repel makeup and how to cope, but I never got around to it.....

I wonder if those slipped through as early Black Friday purchases?

I love gold, though, and if I had not just broke down and purchased the gold MUFE Aqua Eyes, I'd be all about it.

Edit: Just remembered Temptalia says these crease like crazy and looked up to confirm. Feel free to try for yourself, but I usually find when she's complaining about something I have the same issues too.
I had two and ended up giving them away because they just creased like a linen blouse no matter what I tried. YMMV though since I also can't wear cream eyeshadows.

I've had other colors of this eye pencil from Nars.  They are really pretty, but yes, they crease SO bad.  I don't know how bad it'd be if you were to put powder shadow on top though.

I don't think they're early BF deals, they frequently do this to Nars brand products when they're being phased out (usually only particular colors).

Have you ever tried Clinique's gel liner? It's the only one I've EVER used that doesn't budge on me and I've got hooded lids that will eat up/crease almost anything. It does disappear a little on my waterline but it doesn't smudge down and give me raccoon eyes. I do always put a little brown eyeshadow underneath though so that probably prevents the traveling.

The one good thing about my lips is that at least lipsticks, etc. don't feather at all. They just vanish the instant I open my mouth to eat lol.

So, you ladies seem to know just about everything. Let me ask you this question:

I've been looking at those convenient mini-sets, for travel purposes. (Naked on the Run, the adorable Too Faced Beauty Wishes and Sweet Kisses, etc) on the Sephora site, and love the way they're set up. I can throw it in my purse and flee the airport- looking fabulous, I may add.

HOWEVER. Do you know if any refills are ever sold in sizes that fit these kits? Say I use up the lipgloss, which WILL happen before I use up the shadows and blush. Am I SOL when it comes to fitting a new little lippie in those cases?

I'm not sure about Too Faced, but the UD Naked on the Run palette actually has a full sized lip gloss, so you could definitely buy a new one and replace it. Also, if you're not picky about the brand of lippie matching the palette, you could always buy the mini lip sets (Sephora Favorites, KVD) and just toss your own product in the empty slot and switch it up whenever you want. It most likely won't fit like a glove, but at least you could use the space and still have a full-face palette.

ETA: Note that the Naked on the Run doesn't seem to include any brushes, which really undermines the whole concept of being on the run.

also, the mascara in the UD palette is a deluxe size, which may not be available later on. you can check out temptalia's review.

So, I haven't bought from Sephora since the sale, and I didn't plan to do so today, but I popped in to make sure a shade of foundation I ordered would be okay (it will, darn it) and saw one bottle of the Formula X Alchemy color left so I snagged it. I would never buy a backup of nail polish normally, but I love the color so much I don't want to feel like I can't use it because it was LE - does anyone else ever feel this way? I feel like it is such a hoarding-way of thinking... I have the same problem with LE lipsticks and blush!
I love the Alchemy shade. Wearing it on my nails now!

Thanks, everyone! Will have to look at that bars one. I like the idea of swapping out colors.

Edit: nars. Nars, nars nars nars.

I'm wearing it right now too!  It was actually the one item I really wanted to get during the 20% off sale.  I would get a backup but I have so much polish and I've never finished even a mini bottle  :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I actually liked the brush that was in the Pulp Fiction palette, I'm surprised they didn't throw in something like that in the Naked on the run..

does anybody know if sephora is putting out another sample bag like the seasonset soon? or is that it for the holidays? THANKS!

I went to sephora JCP today to get the mirror and bare minerals and they have boscia illuminating black mask, a smashbox lipgloss, and bare minerals oil blend for 100 pts and Daisy perfume for 250

There's the PARTYPACK one that comes with 12 different foils and you get to pick (out of three) which back you want them to come in, I don't know if thats really similar or not though since its foils vs. deluxe samples
