Was it this thread that somebody was asking for eye makeup remover recs, because they were tired of the Lancome one (or something to the effect)?  I can't remember exactly which topic somebody asked.. anyways... 

I just tried a new (to me) eye makeup remover by Kate Somerville that I got in a Nordstrom order today (but they sell it at Sephora).. it is supposed to take makeup off, and also strengthen/condition the lashes and eye area.  I don't know how it works yet for the conditioning properties.. but it smells fantastic, works super well/fast, doesn't burn sensitive eyes, and has little product waste.  A little goes a long way, it squirts out as a lotion consistency with a pump.

VIB Rouge spending MUCH money a year.

I received 5 orders yesterday.

4 of them had NO samples in them at all. No apologies, no substitutes for the ones I ordered.

This is on top of the 1 order I received last week with NO samples in it and the 1 order I received last week,

that was missing my promo item.

I've already written thru the website and I've posted on FaceBook, waiting to hear back.

I understand stuff goes wrong sometimes, but the website promises you 3 samples with ANY order

and states substitutions to be made for out of stock samples. OK, Fine.

But NO samples at all in now 5 orders? That's just wrong.

I'm out 15 samples at this point, and have more orders on the way, so I'm dreading opening them to 

see if I get any samples.

I plan to return most of my items since I didn't get my samples.

Pretty sure that's not what they want happening, so they need to get their warehouse that services my area

in gear.

And I'm hesitant to order anything else because I don't want to get more orders with no samples in them.

I order from Sephora instead of other sites because of those samples and promos, so without them, they don't have an edge for me.

I've never received no samples but have missed one before and emailed through Facebook and they gave me 25 points.

Does anyone know when Sephora stopped putting gift messages in your order? I sometimes write something silly in them for a giggle when I open it but I just realized that I haven't gotten one in ages.

It was me! =) I love my Lancome, but the packaging sucks.

Have you all seen the $10 Nars eye pencils? Only in green and gold, so I haven't pulled the trigger. Although the gold maybe something I can work with...

Wow I would be so mad! Do your orders ship from the Baltimore distribution center? I was wondering why the samples haven't changed on the website. I have 4 orders that finally shipped I wonder if there will be samples.

I'm pretty upset about it. I'm in FL, so not sure what warehouse.

I'm not at home to look at the box.

I wrote thru the website, but got this dumb reply about delayed shipping and high volume so they were behind, but they didn't address my actual problem at all.

So, apparently they didn't even read the email I sent them and just sent me an unrelated stock reply.

I ordered GlamGlow Mud, Dolce & Gabbana The One ,

Cartier Déclaration L'eau , Gucci Flora Gardenia By Gucci, 

Dr. Jart+ PORE MEDIC and some other ones.

They all showed on my order forms, but no actual samples in 

the boxes.

I mean, how could the warehouse manage to miss putting samples in 4 different boxes.

Most of them were bought on different dates, so they weren't getting filled back to back or anything.

OK, maybe they were out of all 5 of 6 different samples I ordered, but no substitutions, Really!

The site plainly says "substitutions will be made" if the sample is out of stock.

It doesn't say 'if we're out of stock on your samples, too bad for you.

All orders I've made from Sephora during the sale had all three samples, although several had substitutions and one had three completely different samples. But I don't think I've had an order yet that didn't come out of SLC, so if there is a problem with packing the samples, it may be confined to one DC in particular.

So, I haven't bought from Sephora since the sale, and I didn't plan to do so today, but I popped in to make sure a shade of foundation I ordered would be okay (it will, darn it) and saw one bottle of the Formula X Alchemy color left so I snagged it. I would never buy a backup of nail polish normally, but I love the color so much I don't want to feel like I can't use it because it was LE - does anyone else ever feel this way? I feel like it is such a hoarding-way of thinking... I have the same problem with LE lipsticks and blush!

anyone else find sephora collection products really appealing? i especially like the skincare and the little tools that they have. oh, and the brushes too (i might get the fluffy concealer brush soon) i like the looks/packaging of the products, the price, and the performance.

I love their $5 lip balm its so smooth and really helps my lips out. I love their cotton pads and I want to try their metamorphosis powder? I love their price point, though sometimes I think they're a little high for a retail store brand

I wonder if those slipped through as early Black Friday purchases? 

I love gold, though, and if I had not just broke down and purchased the gold MUFE Aqua Eyes, I'd be all about it.

Edit: Just remembered Temptalia says these crease like crazy and looked up to confirm.  Feel free to try for yourself, but I usually find when she's complaining about something I have the same issues too.
