I got an email from Sephora today that basically said they were behind at their distribution centers due to the 20% off sale so my recent order will be delayed.  They said I would receive it by November 20th and that they are going to credit my beauty bank 500 points.   :smilehappyyes:  Woo!  My account hasn't been credited yet but I'll just monitor it and contact them if it doesn't show up.

I got the same email this morning. I placed my order last Saturday and it just shipped out so I'm happy they're at least giving us something for the huge delay.

I got the same email! I was pretty pleased, because my first order JUST arrived (it was placed on the first rouge day) and one of the UD palettes had a busted shadow. This order was inconsequential (so long as my UD perk arrives intact), so the points are an unexpected bonus. It also makes up for driving to the store for the Drybar holiday kit and not even getting a tote.

Someone on BT said she called the CS and was told that Rouges with outstanding orders will get 500 points and VIBs will get 250 points. And the points will be credited in about 3 days.

I got the same email. However, the order they said wouldn't come until Nov 19th showed up today, so I don't know if I'll be getting the points. Which is okay, I have my order so I'm happy.

They really did handle this whole thing really badly this year which is so weird. They are usually really good around this time.

Huh. I placed an order on the 9th and it just got shipped today. It's not set to arrive until the 21st ... I'm VIB and haven't gotten an email. I didn't use the 20% off code, maybe that's it?

Either that or I'll just chalk it up to "Damn Yankees!"

I didn't have any issues with any of the five orders I placed during the sale. They all came the next day. However I made a small order ($27) on Tuesday to take advantage of the fact that that I could still use giftvib and it just shipped today. To be honest I completely forgot about it until I was reading everyone's posts today...

I made five orders in total, I've gotten three and the e-mail I got said the other two will be delivered by the 19th according to their e-mail. So.... shipped on Monday? :lol:   We'll see. Did get 500 points though, whoo hoo! I'm not in a rush, so as long as I get them by Christmas, LOL.

I finally got an email about it this afternoon looks like.  Said my order would arrive by the 19th, and I'll get 500 points in 2-3 days.  Seems they could have saved a lot of anger/posts to respond to (on Facebook) if they'd have just made a simple announcement.  But then again, they never think to circumvent, only to react by force, lol.  

I hope something good comes out soon in the store by me.  I still have a store credit left and can't find much to spend it on.. everything is either out of stock in store or "online only".  Maybe now that the sale period is over stock will return to normal soon.

Yikes, if Sephora is having issues with orders from just that sale, I wonder if they'll get back on their feet in time for Black Friday / Cyber Monday, or if this will be an issue through the holiday season.
