Has anyone tried the Foreo Luna? I'm thinking about giving it a go and would like to know if it's any good
I tried the Luna mini and really liked it. I haven't bought it yet bc I bought 4 new clarisonic brush heads during BOGO free from Ulta's 21 days promo. I do like the Luna better than the clarisonic.

@@Emuhlyy ~  I don't have oily skin but, I have tried a bunch of Origins cleansers and really like all of them.  I have one in my shower right now that makes me want to keep touching my skin after I wash it off.

I have light skin and so I have toned down my bronzer for the winter as my summer one was toooooo much!  I am actually using Dim Light by Hourglass which is not technically a bronzer but, on me it acts as one.

I think I've gotten all the holiday sets I really want for now so I'm going to use my 20% to get things I actually need. Any recommendations for a face wash for oily skin and/or a bronzer for fair skin? TIA!
I alternate between Smashbox Fusion, Too Faced Pink Leopard and Naked Flushed Strip for a bronzer.  I have excess sebum (aka EXTREMELY OILY SKIN) and found the duo of Origins Checks and Balances (daily) and Modern Friction (3 x's wk) works perfect for me.

Also, to switch things up, I subscribe to Stages of Beauty (for 40's) and their face creme alone somehow curbs my oil production.  I often mix some of it into an illuminator or brightener too - love that stuff!  In fact the reason I still get it on auto ship is because of the help it gives with my oily face.  It isn't something the creme makers promote as a benefit, but it is a benefit for me.

I'm about to place a second order in two days (umm) and I'll reach the VIB status, yay... Just wondering if anyone has a 20% off code to share? Thanks :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

For light bronzer (and I use this as an all over face powder for summer since I'm more medium skin toned), Smashbox Soft Fusion Lights Baked Starburst.  They also have one in Stardust which is a bit lighter than the Starburst shade.

Murad Clarifying Cleanser for oily skin.  I use it during the summer.

I personally swear by Ole Henriksen African Red Tea foaming cleanser.

I tried EVERY major cleanser Sephora sold and a few from Ulta and drugstores two years ago on a major quest, and this is the BEST I've found. It leaves my skin clean but NEVER dry, foams and NEVER, EVER leaves a film (the biggest issue I have with any cleansers). I would recommend anyone try it, no matter the skin type.

There is one other that I also really liked that I went ahead and kept (bought from Ulta), but I rarely reach from it. The only time I break out is when I get lazy about my skincare routine!

I second this! This cleanser is GREAT!

Has anyone ever been able to get Nars blushes out of their containers to put in a Z-palette or the like? I have so many individual Nars and Tarte blushes I want to make my own palette with one of those thingy-ma-jingies.

I have a second code to give out.

The code on the card is different than the code you email to a friend so if you gave away the card code you can still give a second code.

I've seen a video on depotting Nars shadows on YouTube using just dental floss. I think if you google NARS and dental floss you could find a method. It looked really easy and No Heat!!

I've done NARS single eyeshadows but not blushes. I use the old heat and wedge maneuver, LOL. I desperately wish I could use the dental floss method but it jut doesn't work for me. I am too clumsy.

Tarte blushes, on the other hand, are extremely easy to remove, and most should pop out without even using heat. In my experience, Tarte doesn't use a lot of glue on their pans. ^_^ /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yes, the Tarte ones are really easy to get out. The full size ones are just magnetic, no glue, so they're perfect for depotting (which is great, because I don't really like their packaging). The smaller, deluxe ones are glued on, though, so I usually use the heat and pry method for it.

You could place an order for the other items and just return the order that was regular price.

I think that's exactly what I'm going to do.  I got a reply back from CS today and I'm not amused.  The tote bag is auto-added to every order right now, regardless of entering a code or not (which I did not).  It is not a promotional item you "ask" for.  I'm getting like 4 tote bags next week at this point - they could keep one and give me the 20% or even some some "we're so sorry you were so stupid" points.  But nope.

Thank you for contacting Sephora.com.

Upon review of your order we can confirm that your order contained a promotion for the tote deluxe sample.

We are able to accept only one promotional code per order. If you have more than one promotional code, we recommend that you redeem the promotion with the earliest expiration date first, then place another order with the second promotion. This will allow you to take advantage of all our exciting offers. Also, please keep in mind that our promotions are good while supplies last or until the date of expiration.

The 20% off code is good from November 6, 2014 through November 10, 2014 and may be applied on any future merchandise orders during that time frame.

We hope you enjoy our 20% Off Shopping Promotion and other offers coming your way. If you have further questions, please contact us again at 1-877-SEPHORA (1-877-737-4672) or by replying to this email.

I made Rouge this week for the first time ever though thanks to the 20% off promotion and lots of Christmas shopping, so not letting it get me down!  Thankfully the order I forgot to enter the code on was my smallest one.  So . . . regardless . . . free shipping for a year.  FINALLY!

I have another 20% off code. PM me if you want it. Taken

I'm trying really hard to not just impulse buy, but (thought I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it) I don't know a whole lot about high-end makeup lines. I'm just trying to buy gifts right now, but there's so much to choose from! It's easy to research things like palettes, but it's a bit harder to try to get into high end makeup brands when you've done mostly drugstore products your whole life.

The Kat Von D Monarch Palette, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow, and Perversion/Subversion duo that I  bought and the Naked Basics palette that was gifted to me are the first high-end products I've owned. I only got those within the past two months.

I just feel kind of left in the dust. I need to do some more research. Find a regular high-end shopping blog. Maybe subscribe to a magazine that goes over high-end products? I know nothing!!!
I'm still learning too!  About brands and also about the types of products out there.  It's very overwhelming.  I only wore drugstore mascara, a bit of black eye liner here and there, and lipstick from 16 to earlier this year.  And I aways bought the exact same thing - even the same lip color most of that time!

I thought Tarte's eye shadow was the best ever - never to be beat...then I find Too Faced palettes and I think wow these shadows are actually very nice too - and great little palettes (Boudoir Eyes; Natural Eyes), and now I'm on a stila kick and I think they are my favorite to date (Soul, Spirit)!  AGH!!   :w00t:  So much makeup!!

Thank you guys!! You are the best. I actually don't mind the packaging of either, but i tend to grab the palettes because it's easier, and the packaging isn't SO gorgeous or expensive (hah) that it would hurt to use it. I'm excited about making my own blush palette!!

You guys I still have a code (and two, if @@tweakabell explains what she meant. Is the code I printed out to use in-store different)? PM Me. I'm about to go to bed so if you send me a message then get one, please let me know so others can have one :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
