Do you remember any of the past 1000 point perks? I've been looking to cash out and this is the first time ever in my sephora life that I've had more than 1000 points. The only one I can remember is the MJ lippie one, but that wasn't a holiday perk...
I don't remember any specifically, I am just hoping because someone here mentioned that a CS agent said there would be "good perks" coming up!

I did a little googling for 1000 point perks and again it wasn't during the holidays, but I really hope they bring back that Bite perk they had a few months ago where it was 4 lipsticks, 1 of which was custom (!!). That's probably the best value perk they've ever had, especially for a lippie junkie like me.

Ughhh I redeemed my points for the Buxom perk earlier this week because the UD one was sold out. Should have waited! :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

In other news, I just got my order with the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlights & Pampered Party Prep sample bag. LOVE all the samples & I'm pumped to try the spotlights out. I love a good highlighter!

I think I'm going to place another order to get the Bright Night Out sample bag & maybe some of these Bite lip minis. I have never tried Bite, amazingly, and I feel like I need to after seeing everyone rave about them!
I love those Bite minis. I got one in the neutral option when I was in the store.( the double ended ones I mean)  Loved it so much I went online and ordered another as a backup because they were SO perfect. I got the sample bag instead of using the code again.

I'm trying really hard to not just impulse buy, but (thought I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it) I don't know a whole lot about high-end makeup lines. I'm just trying to buy gifts right now, but there's so much to choose from! It's easy to research things like palettes, but it's a bit harder to try to get into high end makeup brands when you've done mostly drugstore products your whole life.

The Kat Von D Monarch Palette, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow, and Perversion/Subversion duo that I  bought and the Naked Basics palette that was gifted to me are the first high-end products I've owned. I only got those within the past two months.

I just feel kind of left in the dust. I need to do some more research. Find a regular high-end shopping blog. Maybe subscribe to a magazine that goes over high-end products? I know nothing!!!

@@pokeballssohard Don't feel bad. I got out of makeup for about five years (I wore the same makeup products every. single. day.) and when I was ready to start buying again, I read a TON of blogs, and watched more YouTube videos than I can even count.  In the end, I definitely bought some duds, but I learned from those what I liked/didn't like and got better and better about knowing what worked for me. If you're only planning on purchasing during the sale, I'd stay stick with gifts and the kind of universally popular items like eyeshadow palettes, lip products, maybe blushes. But if you really want to delve into high-end cosmetics, GO for it and get what strikes your fancy! Returning stuff sucks, but you won't know unless you try something, and sometimes it isn't possible to find samples very easily. :wizard:

I am in love with the Bite lipsticks, so pigmented.

Dont worry that takes time to learn. I have learned so much from the ladies on MuT and blogs and still have lots to learn.

Just an fyi someone posted the link for the active perks.  They have others available then the ones listed for the 500 pt ones.   They have a sephora one, bareminerals, hourglass, St.Tropez, Alterna, Buxom, Smashbox and the UD one.

You forgot to tell us where they're posted.

A link or copy?

I think I've gotten all the holiday sets I really want for now so I'm going to use my 20% to get things I actually need. Any recommendations for a face wash for oily skin and/or a bronzer for fair skin? TIA!

Has anyone tried the Foreo Luna? I'm thinking about giving it a go and would like to know if it's any good

I thought VIB received the extra bday gift. I'm not rouge but online it looks like only the rouge get the eyeliner in the bday gift.

Of course I told myself I didn't need to buy anything...then I told myself I'd just buy gifts...then I bought myself the bite set, Stila palette and nail stickers. I'm hopeless lol! But I have been holding out on buying the stila palette all year, hoping it would show up for $20 like last year since I missed it then. The UD palette and blush palette are Xmas gifts for my 13 year old dd. Not bad for $82 and some change!

In the summer I love Dr Murad's blue set -- especially the clarifying cleanser.

In the winter I use the Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash.

http://www.sephora.com/fabulous-foaming-face-wash-P383757?skuId=1572569

I've used this routine for years.  Normally I would have switched over to Bliss already, but I'm in the middle of a Voxbox for Mary Kay.  I'm not sure I'm a fan of the cleanser because it's a little harsh on my skin at this time of the year.  I do like their oil-free lotion, but at night I'm using the Vichy Nut from GB.

I have horribly clogged pores and have spent 100s of $$ trying to unclog them.   :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />  Just when I think something is working, it falls flat.

PTR anti-aging cleanser, clinique, and philosophy (clear days ahead) are the ones i've tried that works well.
