I've gotten a bunch of these (love it!) and I don't think I've ever received one that had a seal on it. It would be nice, though!
Sephora on Facebook has claimed (yet we know how that goes, lol) that it wont be coming back in stock, as it was a limited edition product. Who knows if they were telling the truth though.
Oh I completely understand! It was really really really hard for me to get past that as well. But there are always new things coming out to play with so if you use it up, it's good because it means you enjoyed it! I used up almost my whole whisper of gilt from MAC and it's actually super satisfying to use up a product like that and know that I got so much use out of one thing! Then you have room for new things! I feel like the Naked colors are perfect for me, so I really will make myself buckle down and use all of them. Thank you for making me feel better about the whole thing! I am slowly feeling better. Plus, my birthday is soon, so if I think of it as a combined birthday/christmas present to myself, it's not AS bad.
I hope that they restock soon too, because so many people like that for Christmas. and really there is no reason that they cannot make more sets. It's really just a special nice big box to put everything in, so they should theoretically have plenty of products to put together to make more. I don't know if the eyeliners are something that needed to be produced specifically for the set, but surely there has to be a way. It just is odd to me that they wouldn't make more when it's such a great thing for gifting this holiday season.
I do this all the time with new sketch books. I bought a huge Moleskin Watercolor sketchbook a few years ago and it is just hiding because I won't use it because it is so big and nice and then if I use it its not clean and new and perfect anymore!

I'm definitely getting a few "needs"...an Ole Henriksen skincare set (out of my moisturizer and will be out of serum soon), L'Occitane hand lotion set (almost out), and makeup remover.
Oh I was definitely talking about the minis too, sorry if that wasn't clear!! I think the math works out on the big set that unless you intend to use at least 8 of the 10 items, it isn't worth it. I love that they offered pretty much the same products in single-purchase form!!
