@ ~ another embarrassing moment for me on MUT. Your email prompted me to look at my account. Lo and Behold I was unsubscribed. Just a click of a button and I am in the popular group.

I bet in land long ago, when I first discovered Sephora I opted out. It always feels like I am going to get spammed when I make an account some place and they ask if I want emails with special offers, discounts and events etc.  Ya never think they will be of value.  Obviously on this one I blew it.

Example:  Men's Warehouse.  My boys go to prom once a year yet, they want to sell me a suit weekly!  I should have opted out of those.  Getting punchy...sorry about the ramble.

Welp, the Too Faced Melted Kisses set is out of stock already...do you guys think holiday sets that go OOS this early in the season will be restocked? Or will it depend on the brand?

@@Kookymama lol! Well at least it was an easier fix than calling CS! And hey, having switched the emails off yourself is better than Sephora's system glitching and their email CS not having any clue over how to fix it!

Call CS and ask them to put you on the list to manually have your email info reset. I had this problem about 2 years ago and I kept emailing asking them to fix it and they'd always say they had, but I still wouldn't get emails. I finally spoke to a real person and he told me some accounts were glitched and had to be fixed manually and he put me on the list and I started getting regular emails a few days after and have ever since.

I get emails like every day, just not Rouge emails.. I wonder why .. is my money not good enough for u sephora? D:

Planning of completing majority of my holiday shopping done @ Sephora. How do I get the code? Can I go to the store and buy my stuff and will a friendly SA give me a code?

The only thing I was planning to get from the F&F was an hourglass palette, but I found an indie near-dupe for about $10. Is it ridiculous that I'm a tiny bit sad about this? I feel like I should still buy something at Sephora but I can't think of anything else I want.

unless that SA is SUUUPER friendly, i would expect not. you can find sales associates on instagram who are willing to give away codes (look up #sephora or #sephoragirls and try to find a post related to the F&F discount). I tried your plan of asking a friendly SA and they were weirded out by the fact that I asked and I was reminded that it was for friends and family and must be given the code.

Man, I really wish that Sephora would permit a discount code and a promotional item code being used together. That palette is gorgeous!

After a few weeks off from ordering with Sephora, I break down and do 7 orders in a few days.  :blush:  The first, my Tarte Pin Up  Blush palette, was great...it felt late, but I've been super busy...the next two were late, I got them today and should have received them yesterday.

One of them had a missing sample, but somehow my order confirmation email didn't have three samples either, just two.  This order had the ROUGEHAIR promo, and drybar's Hot Toddy's seal was broken.

My other order has me so mad at myself for ordering with Sephora again... :angry:   :angry:   :angry: I have had Too Faced Natural Eyes on my loves list FOR-E-VER!!  So I bought that, and picked up the Algenist promo, the Algenist Eye Balm sample, with a couple of serums to boot!  Quadruple win!

Except, my Algenist promo did not have a bag like the image (I'm sure it said somewhere the bag wasn't included, but I thought it was).  Another poster also got the product, minus the bag so that wasn't a fluke.  My Algenist Eye Balm became stila's color balm lipstick in vivienne, ali and natasha - sample card.  And finally, my Too Faced Natural Eyes palette is PREVIOUSLY OWNED/USED/SWATCHED with an obviously manhandled box!  :spidyhead:   :spidyhead:   :spidyhead:

I'm sooooooooo disgusted.  Who knows where this palette has been?  If I wanted gently used I'd go to eBay or some other discount or second hand / resell website.  I paid for straight from distributor!  I will also be more selective with what samples I choose (I still have some store credit) and I'm going to stick with foil samples.  I don't care if they are smaller.  They are sanitary.  I'd rather sample sanitary sparingly, than a big glob of contamination.

Pumpkin and Poppy's Inner Glow powders. They're loose powders, which is a deal-breaker for some people, and obviously they're not a palette. But for about $10 each, I think one of them will provide me with just as much delight as any of the hourglass powders or blushes.

My Algenist promo came in a box with a label, but I wasn't after the bag anyway. I recently picked up and started using some Algenist products and really like them, so the promo sizes are amazing and will be lovely for travel. I wasn't yet willing to shell out the money for the Genius cream, but I have two deluxe samples to try now thanks to this promo and the JCPenny Sephora Favorites Skincare bag. JCPenny also had an Algenist GWP so I was able to get that as well!
