Ugh, I don't use Fresh or EOS or any of those - they all wreak havoc on my lips. During the day I have Hurraw! balms stashed everywhere for quick moisture and at night I use Yu-Be for deep moisture. I know a lot of people can't deal with the Yu-Be because the camphor has a strong scent and can be drying but I swear by the stuff. It took my dry cracked lips and made them smooth year round. I have a stash of unopened tubes in case there is an emergency and I run out without ordering a new one. (The Yu-Be cream also does wonders for my cracked hands and feet.)

You can't buy it at Sephora but the Hurraw! balms are awesome when you feel your lips getting dry, or to put on under a drying lipstick. I buy mine at American apparel, where they usually sell them buy two, get one free, so you'll get three for just under seven dollars. I love that stuff. :smilehappyyes:

YESSSS. LOOOOVE HURRAW! Hurraw balm is seriously my HG lip balm. It's available online too and I first found it at a health food store then get my replacements at American Apparel. Suuuuch good stuff.

I feel the same way about Eos.  I remember posting in the Eos thread about it last year.  Just like you said, Eos caused my lips to peel in chunks.  It was bad.  I had 2 different scents (Mint and Summer Fruit) and they both dried out my lips.  I ended up tossing them both.

I think Fresh balms are a lot better than Eos, but even continuous use of those dries out my lips.  If I apply a Fresh Balm 3 or more times in about a 10 hour window my lips dry out.  I still like the Fresh balms since they have pretty colors and for me are moisturizing when not over used.  I feel like they are a good way to easily add some color to lips without having to bust out a compact mirror and apply lipstick.  I keep the Petal color in my desk drawer at work and have received compliments on it from my coworkers (my fave color is Honey but I don't waste that one at work   :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> ).

My favorite lip balm for the past couple of years has been the Josie Maran one: http://www.sephora.com/argan-lip-treatment-P268209?skuId=1267145

I'm also interested in trying the Tony Moly Balm in honey since I have seen a few people say it is good and I love honey scented things      I'm really not a fan of the lips container it comes in, but if it's a good balm I can over look that.

Anyway I'll probably be making another Sephora order soon so if anyone has some good lip balm recommendations I would love to hear them   :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Lol that's the only reason I bought it... I think it's so cute!

For some reason the website doesn't let me buy the darker packaging tho,.. I had to buy the red one o_O

So my flash shipping didn't extend until February like the Beauty Talk rep told me it would :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I called the VIB number and they let me purchase another year for $25 which I totally did because its still a good deal but I wonder why some are getting extended and others are not.

I just received a response from Sephora regarding my 2 missing promo items. To summarize the message said, "Hello Yingjing, our records show you have spoken with someone and this issue is resolved. Call is if you need anything else."

My name is not Yingjing or anything remotely close to Yingjing and I have not spoken with anyone so the issue is definitely not resolved.

Ugh!

@@Shalott camphor would DESTROY my lips within the hour :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I also suspect some oils dry out my lips.

And I DO love the Tony Moly balms too! I also liked the Bite Agave lip mask but I misplaced it :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> (I know it's arounf the house somewhere, so I'm not totally bummed). The only think about the Bite Mask (which was great t use at night) was that it had a strange, almost rubbery after smell/taste.

But I can tell that I'm going to be loyal to Fresh for the rest of my life- the fact that they come in so many pretty colors for a nice little swish of color on the lip is even better. My lips are SUPER pigmented (people think I'm always wearing lipstick lol) so for an every day look I usually just wear mascara, blush, balm, and some eye shadow sometimes. (It's hilarious how much I spend on makeup and eye shadows when I really only do a "face" when I go out).

They've done this to me. Respond and write a strongly worded but not rude response that no, you haven't been, they're confusing who you are, and you want resolution now. Or call on the phone (which will get you qquicker results but for me it's easier to say what I really want and need on email instead of on the phone, because sometimes it's hard for me to stand up for myself)

That's a cool idea! Too bad I just got a mini too faced bronzer, I have like 5 of those lol
It lets you play once per email, so I played twice :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I have an extra code for the Boscia if you want it. I used the 10% off to score the hourglass blush palette

Well slap my butt and call me Shirley....I just had ever the moon excellent Sephora customer service!!!!

I went in-store last month prior to a vacation, made a big purchase that included $80 fragrance, $50 eyecream, $40 primer, $50 palette and a few other odds and ends. I wasn't even offered a sample at checkout and when I came home found a email for a bag of samples with purchase, valid on that day!

So I fumed inside and here on MUT, then shot off an chat on FB to CS, politely letting them know how sucky that is...they said sorry and told me the manager from the store would contact me in a few days. I let them know I'd be out of town, but would be checking emails. A month passed and I shot another chat on FB letting them know I had yet to hear from anyone.

The next day I get an email from the store manager saying how sorry they are and can she send me something to make up for it. I accepted and really was impressed they offered to send it rather then me having to go into the store! I didn't really expect much in way of samples, but hey they went out of their way...right?

Holy Moly! I'm seriously impressed and grateful for the wonderful items she sent! They were all wrapped in red ribbon too!

when I went to pick up the palettes for the ladies here, and that was a $200+ purchase - I wasn't offered any free samples. I've gotten a perfume put in my bag at checkout at sijcp but I've almost never had or been offered samples in-store unless it was an event or I specifically asked for one

I just got that rouge polish todayn it was impossible to get into lol o ended up having to rip the top off

I hardly ever get in-store samples, but the fact that there was a promotion going on that day p me off. I don't know why they make in-store shopping less appealing by not offering the goods like they do online.
